News - Sneak Peek: The Warzone 2 Season 3 Update. Multiplayer, Zombies & Warzone
Let's just see how they're going to do it, but this, of course, does not include the potential for remasters or maps for gunfights, ground wars, etc.
All season 3 operators releasing
but these are code names for upcoming operators; we have Lambda. Kappa, of course; Devon Booker cheats Chong; and then we even have Snoop Dog, so we'll apparently be getting a new version of Snoop Dog maybe during season 3 for another 420 celebration, unless it has been misinterpreted. These are the code names right now for season 3 operators, but then we'll be seeing skins for the following, so we have two for Lambda, two for Kappa, two for Enigma, one for Macaov Swagger Riptide.
Alpine, two for price, and one for Ghost. Corso Jet and even Rapor again. This is premature information; it doesn't reflect the final skin count that we're going to be seeing in our third season, but then we apparently have three new executions, including one called Buz Saww and one for Wantan. Not sure what that means, and then one that's called brownie, so we're of course going to be seeing a bunch of new executions, whether it's for collabs or whether it's through various bundles that release throughout season 3.

Season 3 weapons rumored right now
Include the compound bow, the MP9 machine pistol, the Batt assault rifle, and the Morse sniper rifle. Those last two weapons I mentioned are, of course, from Advanced Warfare; there are some other rumored weapons, like, I think, the spaz and even an ARX. I think those have been canceled according to these leakers, but of course, take that with a grain of salt.
We also have new gear for multiplayer, which includes Dless boot boots as well as Squad Rage. Now, these could, of course, just be code names or the actual names of the pieces of content we're going to be seeing in our third season.
All season 3 zombies content & beyond
But then going into zombies, there's actually a decent amount that's known already, surprisingly, for our third season, and I'm going to guess most of this for season 3 Reloaded.
Since right now it's to be assumed that a majority of new zombie content will only be released going forward during mid-season updates, we're going to be seeing a new Rift, a new dark ether section, so to speak, and I guess we're going to be seeing more pieces of alaza. If I had to take a guess, we're then going to have a story mission or Easter egg objective tied around Ava investigating relics, cleansing them, and facing somebody known as the champion.
They'll be champion bosses added to MWZ. Throughout season 3, and then with the relics you can find or objects, we're going to be seeing a bunch of different abilities and attributes tied to them, so you'll be able to do extra zombie damage. You have extra speed and special vision when using some of these artifacts.
I guess if you want to call them and it looks like we'll be getting a similar content pattern every single update going forward, which is again getting a new zombie update that entails. New Rift you can go through via an act mission, then an east on ersan that lets you get back into the rift. When in the rift, there'll be different contracts you can do that allow you to earn brand new schematics, but on top of that, we have brand new features for zombies that may be canceled or may be coming, including a dead drop.
Locker xville balloon, a citadel, a portable buy station a weapon Locker: something called defib or decontamination; stations Black sights and even ATMs—these could, of course, be left over from DMZ.
Season 3 warzone map, qol content & more
War zone might be canceled entirely; take it all as you may, but then moving into war zone It's rumored right now that Rebirth Island is going to drop in our third season, based on all the information that has surfaced from the usual leakers. Apparently, they found several references to the fact that rebirth is coming in season 3.
We also have the specialist perk package reportedly confirmed for season 3 Reloaded, according to these people, and if you look at that Raven teaser that was released, what do you know? A specialist perk package is sitting on Rebirth Island, so both of those pieces of content may be saved for the third season.
We also have features like biometric scans. Power Cards, Squad RAGE, and even payment phones. Squad RAGE was mentioned as a multiplayer update, but maybe that's something else coming to War Zone in the same season. The new vehicles for War Zone will also include a cougar, a JT LV, a little bird, a Cru 2008, a scooter, and Techno Rebel armor.
So that's everything we know so far about season 3. I didn't expect to make this article so soon, but as always, we're going to be getting more information from these usual leakers on Twitter once reloaded rolls around on March 6th. Once that happens, there'll be plenty of info for season 3 and beyond about Modern Warfare 3 in War Zone, which I'll break down here on the channel and over on Detonated, but that is about it.
