News - Infinity Ward Management Must Resign. My Final Warzone 2 2022 Review
Tax with nothing else being able to get into the mix, and of course you can use other things, but with Scooby's matchmaking being rammed through the roof, you know, with the people that a lot of us are going against, you have to use meta. If you want to compete, you have to be able to use Meta to go against these sweat lords.
It is what it is, it is what it is, and that's coming from a guy that I guess I can technically call myself a sweat lord. I'm just telling you how it is if I go up against competition. I gotta use the tech, or I gotta use the Vasnev if my opponents are using them. If I'm using if I'm running a competition that's not using those metas, then yeah.
I can go about my business and use other fun stuff, and those are lobbies I want, but nine times out of 10, you won't get those lobbies. Those lobbies are not tangible. It just it sucks but it's something that could have been easily fixed. But they just didn't want to go through the effort of working on these weapons to make sure that they all were competitive and not just two of them were, until of course the very end of the life cycle of this game and don't even get me started about the microtransactions, in this game again this game had no content they drip fetus content but on top of that all of the cool rewards were locked behind pay walls, pay walls what happened to the day I mean I guess I just need to suck it up and get over it but I missed the OG days in gaming where all the cool stuff was locked behind hard challenges, you know so when you see someone that has something extremely badass in a game it's like yeah you know he worked his butt off and don't get me wrong you know I understand if they still want to sell stuff in the store so be it but the amount of grindable things to get in this game are non-existent.
And they slowly started getting better events, like we had two mid-season events: Halloween, the horror event where you can get the final skin for that one that was pretty cool, and I forget the first event that we had where they started to introduce that mid-season grind thing where you pick up a tag and it allows you to buy stuff in the store.
Those were interesting, but the amount of pay to win stuff in this game the DMZ bundles all. It just wasn't worth it; it's disgusting in this title, and again, you could tell all of their focus was more on selling stuff in the game than actually fixing the game and making sure it was playable. I couldn't even tell if Infinity World was passionate about the project, and honestly, that's what killed it.
You know, I enjoyed some of the initial changes to make it more original, but once the holiday season ended and they were supposed to come back, multiplayer was just thrown in the trash. We didn't see anything—no changes, no fixes—like they just literally left it to die, and I think that's really what happened ultimately.
It just killed my hope for Infinity Ward to redeem themselves. I really wanted Infinity W to redeem themselves, but they can't, and they honestly can't, until management is completely changed. If you hate the maps, tell me why. You know if you hate the gun playay, tell me why. But overall.
