People were doing this??

People were doing this??

makes an issue by allowing vehicles operated by a squad member to drive through a player's sentry gun to hide it from view; that's really clever. I didn't know that existed, but I can imagine in the DMZ a sentry gun hiding inside a vehicle, and then you go by and you just get demolished.

You didn't know it was there; you didn't see anyone do that, but apparently that was possible. Fix an issue allowing players to deploy a sentry gun in prohibited spaces. Fix an issue preventing players from canceling out of deploying a sentry gun while parachuting, Fix an issue allowing players to deploy a sentry gun in out-of-bounds areas.

Dmz and warzone 2.0 update

Fix an issue causing the VTOL jet to ignore targeted enemies when they're , In a vehicle now this is where things start to really heat up gameplay changes.

This needs to be added to dmz

dmz bots easy

The Expo helicopter, the heavy helicopter that squads X use upon winning a match, will now use the cosmetic vehicle skin of the highest scoring squad member, so if you're playing Battery , when your squad wins, it's going to take the member on your team who has the most amount of score, and that heavy helicopter that comes in is going to have the skin on it that they have equipped.

As soon as I read this, I was like, "That's an awesome feature." I'm glad they did this, but this needs to be in the DMZ. They should do the same thing, but whoever calls, in the x-fill, when the heavy choppers come in, it should have the vehicle skin they have equipped. There are tons of cool heavy chopper skins that you're able to earn in this game; some of them you can even earn by doing DMZ missions, but in DMZ there's no way to use these skins, and since they removed the heavy chopper from Warzone, there's no way to use any of those skins. The only way you can use these skins is by playing ground war in the main series, so hopefully they make this change for the DMZ as well.

Attachment changes

Attachment changes

UI players will now see the attachments for their active loadout weapons highlighted in yellow on the weapon silhouette located on the bottom right of the UI.

This is kind of cool. You can kind of swap back and forth and see the attachments here and get a good idea of what they've got running on this and whether or not it's actually worth using. We've got updates to equipment at Simtex.

Throwing knives got a massive buff

These knives will instantly down a player with maximum armor plates equipped if it hits their head or upper torso, so now that there's a modifier for the throwing knife, you're going to be doing more damage if you hit them in the upper torso or the head, and once again, it doesn't matter if they've got full maxed-out armor; it's going to instantly down them.

dmz bots too good

When I read this, I got really excited because I thought this meant that if you throw a throwing knife at a bot in the face, it's also going to down them. This only applies to real players; if you find a bottom DMZ, you get the throwing knife and throw it directly in their face. Yeah, they're not going to go down instantly.

You're going to have to throw a second throwing knife. Hopefully that's a bug, and hopefully that gets fixed. I don't think Tier-three bots should have more health than an actual player that's fully armored up, but you know that's how it currently is in the game.

Dmz exlusive changes

Dmz exlusive changes

We've also got some DMZ-specific changes in the Solo QA player , which can now self-revive if assembled Squad members are down. Combatant threat generated by Recon and Bomb drones has been reduced by 85 percent. This bug fix resolves an issue causing the heartbeat sensor battery to reset after being dropped on the ground and picked up again.
