Some quick settings here First, your button layout and sensitivity are both of these things are preference-based, and there's no right or wrong answer. Personally, one of the things that I would highly recommend is a button layout, of course, but tactical allows you can do default, of course but tactical allows you to have a bit more movement opportunities right at your fingertips, quite literally having the ability to change your stance, slide, or dive on your right thumbstick as opposed to having to reach over and touch the circle or B buttons on the controller.

That's something that's honestly a big help for your horizontal and vertical stick sensitivity. Again, personal preference is the basis. base I would go over into the firing range of your loadout setup if you don't have Modern Warfare 2 as a primary game, but if you do have Modern Warfare 2 in the full game, that is something you're going to end up doing in private matches just shooting bots and seeing how you feel with certain sensitivities.

I've always liked a little bit higher sensitivity, so I play on a 99.

Again, your experience may vary going forward. When it comes to specific controller settings, a lot of the inputs come down to preference: do you want vibration on or off? Some controllers don't even have rumble strips, so vibration wouldn't even be a thing.

Things like your trigger effects having full haptics on are something that you can do, but it kind of takes away from some of the competitive experience. Maybe it's a little bit more immersive where you have that resistance and feedback like a real trigger, but it's something that really doesn't help you out in securing a kill a little faster, so for that.

I'd turn things like that off. There's absolutely some stuff that we can recommend here, like your sprint behavior, especially in War Zone 2. It's a big map, and I, personally, like auto-attack sprint just so I can get across the map a little faster. For those of you that don't know, you can end up mailing, and it will reset your tax print so you can kind of not have so much chain-based movement like slide canceling, but it at least allows you to have more sprint time than not weapon.

Mount activation, the default for me, has always been the best one for ads plus melee. I tried it a little bit with the setting of ads, but I just kept mounting things that I didn't want, so it was something that I moved back to default, but the big one that I can absolutely recommend. And I would highly consider here the interact and reload behaviors.

So, this is where it gets kind of tricky because if you want to play one or the other. Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2, it's not really an issue, but if you play both, it might get a little bit annoying despite. Attempting to be two different experiences, the settings are for the most part shared across the Call of Duty HQ, so for Warzone I.

I would highly, highly recommend prioritizing. Interact, and this setting will essentially be your contextual tap setting, where all you have to do is tap on an item and it's in your inventory. It's a bit weird because you also might need to get used to it with, say, vehicles and such; it got me killed at one point because I was holding to exit a vehicle rather than just simply tapping, and well, it got me killed.

But this will allow for much faster looting, which in a battle can be absolutely essential. Those few seconds that you could save could mean life or death. But again, I say this with caution because if you go back to Modern Warfare 2's MP, I would definitely not recommend prioritizing. You could very easily be in a nice two-piece situation where he killed two enemies, but you have another player maybe two pushing you, and you gotta reload because most of Modern Warfare 2's magazines are rather low in ammunition, and in that pin situation, instead of going to reload, you pick up a weapon you didn't want, so that's something to consider because unfortunately, since this is shared across War Zone 2.

So just be conscious of that armor.

Your advanced settings say "Aim, Assist Type." That's the first thing we'll come across with this. I've actually recently been playing around with the Black Ops aim assist, as opposed to normally just playing with default. I'd heard some people say that since the launch of Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops has been slightly adjusted, but I haven't been able to quite test that and find out the definitive answer.

Again, this one's a bit more personal preference. Based, though, I don't think you can go wrong with either Black Ops or default now with the season 1 update and the launch of War Zone 2. Aiming is something that's new, but that's something that probably a lot of people will not have access to; it's something that I think may be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 controllers, where the movement of your controller can dictate how some of that aiming works.

To me, the concept of that has always felt unnatural. I don't play around with that at all, but just based on personal preference, you can tweak that to how you wish your aiming category to be in the advanced category. You want to go to the aim-response curve type. Dynamic is what I'd highly recommend here at this one we've talked about before, where it's a reverse s mapping curve for more fine-grained aim rate control, meaning there's not as much artificiality.
