News - This One Change Will Make You Addicted To Warzone 2 Zombies
Well, I have an idea that will encourage all players to keep playing Moder Warfare 3 zombies for years to come. Let's get into it. Treyarch, we need to talk. There is an entire branch of gameplay that you are completely missing out on here in Modern Warfare 3: Zombie—a branch of gameplay that could keep zombie players hooked and give them a reason to keep coming back year after year.
Modern Warfare 3 zombies aren't perfect, but one of the biggest issues with this mode is philosophically: Is it a fact that once you've got everything, what's the point of playing anymore? This is an issue that we've seen in DMZ, and it's starting to creep its way into Modern Warfare 3. This problem isn't a lack of endgame content; there's plenty of really fun endgame content.
The Tier 3 area is challenging. The Ether Storm Worm and the Act Four Worm are excellent challenges, and the Dark Eternity and the Elder Dark Eternity are great places to look for high-tier loot, but why do they? Obviously, they're fun, so of course you can do them for fun, but doing those endgame runs takes resources.
Being an extraction shooter, resources are a hot commodity, meaning players only want to spend them on something that they feel is worth it. What's the point in going to the dark ether once you have all of the schematics? What's the point in doing the act for the worm? If you've already unlocked the dark ether, there need to be proper incentives to take on these challenges at all times of player progression, and I have the perfect idea: we need to completely get rid of the stash.
Well, sort of now, hear me out. The stash has been a controversial mechanic here in mod Warfare 3 zombies, and it is among the top wishes of the community to increase the stash limit from 10 to something more reasonable like 20 or 25, or like 100, but what does this have to do with player retention and longevity donuts?
Well, just keep watching, and you'll see if we did increase the stash size to 20 50 100 200 1, 000. It wouldn't fix the real problem. The real problem with the stash occurs when it is full. Players will reach that point where they feel done with the game and the grind, but you see, the real solution is to completely eliminate the stash limit entirely instead of limiting the players to how many legendary ether tools they have.
Pack-a-Punch crystals and classified items they can have; let them run free and go crazy, collecting and extracting as many items as they want. This creates an intrinsic motivation, with every single game of Modern Warfare Zombies, just like round-based games, having the intrinsic motivation of surviving higher and higher rounds.
Modern Warfare Zombies, being extraction shooters, can have the intrinsic motivation to extract better and better loot. There are some legitimate concerns with this idea, but let's get back to those. This idea of a limitless collection of items is something we have seen in Zombies before, and it was really successful for player engagement.
Where have we seen it? Gobblegums and Elixir You play zombies, collect resources, earn gobblegums and elixir, and you are met with a grind that will never stop to this day. I go back and I play Black Ops 3 and Black Ops 4, and I want to keep grinding liquid divinium and nebulium plasma, and I have well over.
100 of many different types of elixir in Black Ops 4, and I want more. It is not enough if Modern Warfare 3 zombies allowed us to collect as many items as we could; there is no stopping us; we would grind. Even if we didn't know what we wanted to do, we would know that we wanted to just keep adding to the collection, and Treyarch, if you're worried about players collecting too many of those high-tier items, don't worry.
The people who are crazy enough to hoard that many high-tier items are not going to be the ones to use them every game, but there is still an issue. Tombstone glitchers—yeah, we have to talk about it. If we had a limitless stash, Tombstone glitchers would be able to exploit it even more than they already are.
My defense is this with the season 1 reloaded update. Treyarch, you have fixed the stash glitch so that only duplicated items will go over the 10 stash limit, meaning the only way to get more than 10 items in your stash is to duplicate them. This means you, Treyarch, are unfortunately and unintentionally punishing players for playing the game the way you designed it to be played now.
I do imagine a fix will come out for the Tombstone glitch, especially because there is a way to see if an item was duplicated or not that being said Trey If you're worried about the tombstone glitchers not having a balanced experience with the removal of the stash limit, relax and calm down. They're already not having a balanced experience with the current stash limit in place, so why not just let all players have that fun?
Why not encourage players to actually play legitimately so they can hoard and collect as many legendary ether tools, golden armor, and back-aunch crystals as possible years down the line in 203? When we come back and revisit Modern Warfare 3 zombies, give those players a reason to play. Give us a reason to keep playing until 2030.
Players want to grind for good loot. It's part of the fundamentals of this game. In fact, those of you who are grinding loot have noticed an increase in better contract rewards for Modern Warfare 3 zombies lately. Well, I tested it out, and if you're going to watch, check out this article and stay.Beautiful, **
