News - These Changes Are Finally Coming To Warzone. It's Been Years
Often not super accurate, especially in the beginning of War Zone but then things like Precision air strikes which were much more deadly, you had no indication as to where that would be landing and now that's finally taken care of and again all for that now for the future here it will be something that there's going to be some caveats, with you won't see this from afar like if you end up pulling up the attack map you're not going to see somebody three grid spaces over seeing an air strike come in but it will only appear if you're in that range of the strafing runs so the big concern before this was clarified is that you'd see a lack of sort of use of Pas for things like predictive strikes, that's a big thing in a sort of competitive scenario if you know a team is going to be rotating, say you have them pinned on the edge of gas and they have to move you can PA that area where they're going to run out of a building or something and pick them off as they're running out use it as a way to get those picks but also reposition for yourself.
The worry was that these types of plays would then become obsolete or impossible. But that would not be the case, as players would not be able to see that until they were in the range of that strike, which, in that case, would also be too late if you're running into it and just getting picked off at that point. So that's the nice part about that.
Could rebirth island return sooner than fortune's keep?
And while those are the preview changes of the gameplay for War Zone and very big ones but also really good ones. I think I also can't help but also dwell on the idea that maybe rebirth actually might be launching ahead of schedule and fortunes keep getting pushed back a little bit here because.
Why would they preview the specialist bonus on Rebirth Island? If that was not the first map that would be coming of the two, it would seem odd to show something likely in the near future on the timeline of things, but on a map that wouldn't be there until late spring or early summer Midsummer at the latest, maybe I mean right that just that wouldn't really make a whole ton of sense to me, so I wonder if we'll be seeing that fan favorite return sooner rather than later, but all speculation, all guess work, but that is where we're going to wrap it up two very big and very important changes coming to War Zone here in season 2 and Beyond.
