News - The New Warzone 2 Season 6 Reloaded Updates, Weapons & Final Content Packs

It's just that time of the year again, but we're going to be putting an end to the discussion about a season 6 reloaded update. Take a look at the final bits of content for Modern Warfare 2, plus even more. Here on the channel, just in the form of articles on the websites and plenty of tweets every single hour on Detonated, Twitter.

Today is the 20 year anniversary of cod!
Today, October 29th, officially marks the 20th anniversary of the Call of Duty series. Obviously. Modern Warfare 3 will help celebrate the 20-year milestone by releasing all MW2 2009 multiplayer maps as the remastered launch content for MW3 multiplayer, and the game itself will probably add in even more content, which we just didn't expect.
That will also help celebrate all the iconic Call of Duty titles over the years. The AOD blog did go out a couple of days ago, also talking about the 20-year anniversary and giving a bit of information about every single title in the last two decades, which is incredible. Like I put out on Twitter today, this series has changed my life.
I've been playing Cod since I want to say Call of Duty 3, which was a long time ago, and I started doing content full-time back in 2018, but I've been making Call of Duty articles since at least Black Ops 1 MW3. It's been an honor to be able to do this full-time for you guys and to expand on not just articles, live streams, and shorts but even a website with articles and more tweets.
Triple xp event & early mw3 campaign pop up
It's been an honor and a privilege to do this as a career, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon , but it was confirmed just recently that there is a triple XP event inside of Modern Warfare 2 in the war zone lasting until Wednesday. Now Wednesday is November 1, the day before MW3, and Campaign Early Access begins.
I'm now seeing the popup in my Cod HQ menu on PC for campaign Early Access. I know it was previously only visible on Playstation, but yeah, there is a countdown at the top counting down to when campaign Early Access will begin, but again. Triple XP is active in every single game mode right now. Take advantage of that for those out there that want to hit Max rank for the sixth and final season, or for those that want to go ahead and level up some last-minute weapons before MW3 releases, or if you haven't finished season 6 battle pass, go ahead and do that while you still can.
This week, I'm expecting plenty of marketing for Modern Warfare 3, so I'll be live every single morning in preparation for potential marketing. Whether it's a new blog post or whether it's another launch trailer for Modern Warfare 3. I'm expecting that we'll end up getting a full blog for all campaign rewards, probably on Wednesday, the day before Early Access begins, but either way, we'll still be getting some other last-minute Intel drops or other announcements from Call of Duty in regards to multiplayer and zombies. We're going full force with Modern Warfare 3 now, so this article might in fact be one of my last ones about Modern Warfare.

Now, you guys also have around 20–3ish days to claim this Grim Crimson pack if you guys out there have an Amazon Prime subscription. Now this pack does come with a Kisal Operator skin, a Lockman 762 blueprint, and a wolf's name, the Lockwood MK2 blueprint.
We also have a vehicle skin and a charm. a granny sticker, a hooded emblem, and all of this will of course transfer into Modern Warfare 3, but maybe because we're not going to be seeing any more PS+ combat packs after Modern Warfare 3, whatever work they would typically put into a combat pack could just go into these Amazon Prime bundles so that they are separate from the bundles they release inside of the in-game shop.
That's just my little prediction or recommendation.
Season 6 reloaded event, content & rumors
Moving forward, these free packs could work, but you guys have probably seen some discussion about a potential season 6 reload. The Haunting is the season 6 reloaded update for Modern Warfare 2, just as The Haunting was for Modern Warfare 19, and even Cold War, there has never been a season 6 reloaded.
The releases after a haunting update are obviously not going to talk about Vanguard last year since that game only had five seasons and didn't even get a haunting event, but as of right now, there is nothing else that has leaked out for Modern Warfare 2. There's no Maps modes or other experiences and expansions that could warrant a reloaded update to season 6, which is going to somehow release separate from The Haunting and somehow also release before MW3.
I am aware of Captain Price's Revenge event inside Almaza. I believe that was just something fun that was added for in-game lore on some of the various haunting blueprints. I don't think it's actually referring to a real event. I think at this point, if there was going to be an event like that for Halloween or for whatever, that probably would have leaked out by now, but I mean, never say never. I'd love to be wrong and see even more content in Modern Warfare 2 too, but I doubt that actually means anything; it's probably just something that is in the game as a gimmick, which doesn't really mean much in terms of content.
2 mysterious dlc weapons & updated info
Gist the iso 9 mm and the Dual commas melee weapons now for whatever reason the tr76, gist charm has been updated to reflect there's only three DLC weapons for this six season whereas the charms for the iso and the Dual KAS have not been updated and do refer to the fact that there could be five weapons, now if they would have released these two DLC weapons here the Bruin or the FR then that would have made sense right there's five total DLC weapons now for season 6 but that's probably not going to be the case, now I've heard rumors that apparently on the leaked list of all Mastery calling cards for Modern Warfare 3 the Bruin and the FR are featured there so that probably means those weapons are to release in Modern Warfare 3 but the leaked list of launch weapons for Modern Warfare 3 doesn't include these two weapons so we could safely assume these two DLC weapons.
