News - Stop Building Your Ars Wrong Warzone 2. 0
The barrel on the other hand, for which you're probably going to go with the long barrel in most situations. In this scenario, it's the 17.5-inch Tundra barrel that gives some very nice recoil buffs, not as good as the underbarrel in general, but it also boosts your muzzle velocity. Your damage range multiplier determines the choice between the f-tac gripper and the long barrel, so it all comes down to two things: Number one, does the gun have a solid TTK out to a good range, and does your gun have good bass recoil?
Let's take the crew of the 762 as an example. This is known to be one of the hardest-hitting ARS in the game. It has a ttk of 200 milliseconds out to 45 meters. That's insane in comparison to most of the other ARS in the game. In this example, it's a no-brainer to just run the F-TAC Ripper and get the best recoil we can get, and you don't need the long barrel because you've already got insane TTK out to an incredible distance.
Let's take the polar opposite scenario now with the Lachman 556, which does a lot less damage than the caliber of the 762 but has incredibly easy recoil right out of the box. Well, the Lackman's base TTK is. 249 milliseconds, and then that drops off to 332 milliseconds at 32 meters out, and then it drops off again at 56 meters, so we need to buff the damage range on this thing, and the barrel is the obvious option for this one.
It's the lachman-wrapped barrel that's our longest barrel if the AR is You're Building, which sort of falls directly in the middle of those two scenarios. I would usually recommend going for The Recoil Over, the damage range boost, because recall, in Warzone 2, is kind of crazy and curbing it as much as possible will lead you to getting more kills than just boosting your damage range, so you can follow along with this blueprint and build any AR in the game to be perfect.
Here is our finish. Tac 56 build we can take into the firing range, and you'll see it's a really lovely straight-shooting gun. We can follow the exact same principle and do it for another gun. I've done it here for the 762; we can take this one to the firing range, and it's the same story: it shoots, it feels nice and straight, and it makes good kills quick and perfect for long range.
I'm going to be making another one for SMGs. And while you're here, why don't you check out this article next, where I cover a bunch of gameplay settings in Warzone 2 that you probably didn't know you needed to change right
