Call of duty league skins are back for 2023! [intro]

The Call of Duty League team packs are now live in Modern Warfare 2 and War Zone 2, and in this article. So I bought myself the phase pack to give y'all an in-depth look at what each pack contains. Phase is pretty popular, although it's not my first pick and probably isn't going to be your first pick because there's one team skin that I feel is going to be much more popular based off the history of operator skins in Call of Duty, but more on that shortly.

Anyway, each pack comes with a male and female operator with a home and a whey skin, so that's four skins and technically four individual operators in total. Skins are part of the spec crew faction and use the CDL team colors, with primarily black phases. The team color is red, so on this home skin, you're seeing mostly red on black.

Away skins, on the other hand, are part of the Cortac faction, and this uses the team's colors, which are primarily white. Yes, you're still seeing a little bit of black, just like you saw a little bit of white with the home skin, but one is outweighing the other, the blacks for homes and the whites for ways, and then you're splashing in at the team colors.

I want to make it clear that you don't get skins for the other operators like Ghost. Rose, or Kalisto; they went the Cold War route with the CDL skins this year and made individual operators rather than giving a skin to all the launch operators. In addition to the operator skins, you'll also get a weapon camo in your team's colors.

To find the camo, you have to go to the gunsmith and scroll all the way to the right to find the special category, thankfully. There was a recent update that lets you hide your lock screen unless you scroll by groups to make scrolling a little bit faster, but this UI is still ridiculous, and they need to improve this thing faster.

You shouldn't need to scroll for 10 seconds to find the new CDL skin you just purchased. I digress all in all, the weapon caps are very similar to each other; they all use the same geometric pattern with the team's colors. The camera actually covers the entire weapon and its attachments, which is nice to see because some attachments may not take the specific pattern but will take the specific team color. Each pack will also come with a team-themed standard sticker and a large decal sticker to use on every weapon in the game, as well as an emblem and an animated calling card, all , that will run you $9.99 USD.

Faq: platform exclusivity, cod points, and more

And that is actual USD. These cost real money. You cannot buy these with Call of Duty points, which means if you buy a CDL team pack, it will only be available on the platform you purchase it on if you play on Xbox and PC and buy a pack on Xbox you will not see it on PC and if you want to see it on PC you're gonna have to rebuy, it through either the steam store or the Battlenet store, this is also why if you're playing with a friend, they may see the launch pack operator skin instead of your team pack because they would need to have purchased and downloaded in order to actually see it in game, it's just a byproduct of how they handle skins that are bought with real money and actually downloaded.

As an add-on versus skins that are already existing in the game files and are essentially lessons out with Call of Duty points, so you've listened to me talk all this time and you want to buy a CDL pack, How do you go about purchasing a pack?.

How to purchase team packs

2.0

Ideally, you would go to the in-game store, scroll down to the franchise store tab, and all the packs would display there, but, at the time of the recording of the article, they were not visible in the game at all.

A surefire way to buy a CDL pack is to go to your local platform store. If you're on Xbox, go to the Xbox store, bring up Modern Warfare 2, then go to its add-ons, and all 12 team packs will be listed there for PC players. It's a very similar path on both Battlenet and for Steam, and if you're on Playstation.

I don't have any footage to show, but you go to Modern Warfare 2 and look for the add-ons just like you do on Xbox, and then once you've purchased a pack, it will appear in the game upon your return. because these packs aren't showing up in the in-game store. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do an in-game showcase for the remaining 11 team packs, but I do have official images and trailer footage to splice together so you can see how each team looks. All the packs are very similar when it comes to the operator skins and the weapon camos.

The only exception is the LA Thieves pack, which also happened to use the colors red, white, and black like the Atlanta phase, so how do they differ themselves? Well, their skin is actually all black, if you guys have played any.

Call of Duty multiplayer or Warzone game over the last few years, you will know that hats and all black skins are very sought after, which is the skin I was talking about towards the beginning of the article and where I think people are going to be. Jumping on and buying, you do still have the red L in the middle of the chest, but that may be more discreet than the rose camo that's available in the battle pass, which, if you are familiar with that link on the screen right now and at the end of the article, you can go check out if you want to be competitive in Warzone and multiplayer.

That said, the remainder of this article will be a showcase of the remaining team packs.
