News - 14 Warzone 2. 0 Tips & Tricks To Immediately Play Better

Works take advantage of what your backpack offers you and stow away what your team might need later on in War Zone 2, you have both a direct player inventory and a reserved backpack, and while you're frantically looting around after dropping into a game, you may not have noticed right away that while you can't hold two of one potentially amazing item at the same time like a kill streak, you can still store multiples of almost any item into your backpack.

You can carry multiple kill streaks, multiple lethals, and tacticals. Extra armor reserves Shove whatever you want into your backpack while you're looting. Check for the option to hold a button for me on the mouse and keyboard; that would be the tab to shove things directly into your backpack instead of your main inventory.

I prefer holding extra kill streaks and armor, mostly because I go through armor like water on a hot day, and kill streaks are just goddamn great, but remember, you don't have to overstuff your inventory until things just flow into your backpack by default. great stuff in there right away, and plan out what you want to stash away for the future.

Strafe loot

Strafe loot

Tip: Strafe with number six while looting. Experienced vr players know standing. Still, looting can often be a death sentence, especially if you're out in the open. It might feel kind of weird or look silly if you've never done this before, but do not just stand still while you're looking through either a pile of loot or a random duffel bag on the map.

Somebody could be watching you through a scope, and if you stand still, how quickly are you going to get sent to the gulag? Try to learn to do a little strafing while looting. 95 percent of the time, it'll probably be for nothing, but it could mean the difference between you getting killed or not.

Ignore the jailer

modern warfare 2

Tip Number seven has no morals in the gulag in War Zone 2. When you die for the first time that you're sent to the gulag, an area where you'll be forced to engage in a very short 2v2 mini match probably paired together with a random player. You don't even know. If you win the 2v2 mini match, you immediately get redeployed back into the game you were just in if the 2v2 match is not immediately ended via a normal victory.

An NPC will enter the gulag while you're fighting. The jailer is a big, heavily armored guy and has a very powerful gun. If you kill the jailer, all four players will be redeployed back into the game. My guy does not prioritize; in fact, if I see enemy players prioritizing, the jailer's immediate thought is good: a free kill on the enemy, guaranteeing my redeployment.

I know it's barbaric, but it's basic game theory 101. Be ruthless and go for the regular 2v2 victory again. Yeah, it might sound a little savage, but if you hope the enemy team will be cool, you will be disappointed 95 percent of the time.

Interrogate downed enemies

Interrogate downed enemies

Number eight: Do not kill downed enemies, at least not right away if you can afford to get to their bodies immediately. Warzones move pretty quickly, and naturally, when you see a downed enemy, your first thought might be, "I'll kill them now so they can't get revived and potentially hurt my team if you have the opportunity to interrogate them." You're downing the enemy instead; they can't fight back anyway, and I don't mean to talk to them on the microphone.

By the way, if you run up to a downed enemy and hold the interact button, you'll have a one-to-two second animation where you threaten them, and then the game will literally give you pinpoint information on where the poor guy's remaining teammates are. Not only will they ping on your radar, but you'll be able to see them via a completely free wall hack.

Obviously, this is only available if you're playing teams, and always take notice of where your downed enemy is in relation to the rest of the map; if they're way out in the open, maybe don't interrogate them. Right away because the downed player could be being watched by their team and you could get picked off.

Feel free to interrogate if you're indoors and hear no enemy footsteps at all or if there's plenty of cover around. Do it when you can, literally.

Go for the train

Go for the train

Free team killing info right at your fingertips number nine Don't sleep on the train when dropping into a warzone. Always open up your map and check on the train. There's a big old choo-choo train going around the outside of the map on a set track, and every time it could be relatively out of the way or it could be right under you.

I won't lie to you. Landing on the train can be a gigantic risk, so a lot of players aim for it right away, and for good reason: the train almost always has good loot, including red crates, which often contain high-tier weapons and items. Even if a ton of enemy players land on the train with you, look on the bright side: if you win, you'll have knocked a ton of players out of the game right away, and you'll be packed with wild loot, and if you lose, who cares?

You just dropped into the game and at most wasted two minutes of your time.

Make a lot of loadouts

mw2

Tip number 10 Make custom loadouts by clicking on weapons in the top menu tab and manually putting together a loadout. If you're a new player, it might sound odd to make a loadout when I'm playing a battle royale and you always drop in with a pistol anyway.

During the game, you can get access to loadout drops; they appear as yellow icons on your map and can be purchased at any buy station for a few thousand bucks, but there are also two loadout drops that happen during a match, one fairly early on and the other later in the game. These are open to any player in the game.

Loadout drops allow you to manually choose any custom loadout that you've made in advance, which gives you the huge advantage of putting together a loadout that you feel very deadly with and then getting to use it in game without crossing your fingers for good loot. On top of that, when you pick up a custom loadout, your old loadout will be dropped in front of you, which your teammates can rummage through if they need better junk.

Building great custom loadouts will take time because you need to level up and unlock attachments. For whatever gun you want to max out, remember that you can try out any gun when making a loadout by hitting the firing range option to see what attachments feel right.

Contracts = easy

Contracts = easy

You tipped number 11; learn about contracts and take advantage of them. In war zone 2, you'll see green icons on your map; those are contracts. AKA quick in-game missions that you can pick up and complete, you got four kinds of secure The Intel bounty has you tracking down a laptop, taking out a hard drive, and then delivering it to another location on the map.

Your reward is XP, money, and the location of the next upcoming event (a map). Circle The Bounty contract will mark another player's general location on the map so you and your team can head to that general area. The green circle will get smaller to give you a better indication of where they are, and your job is to kill that targeted player.
