News - 12. New Massive Features Coming To Warzone 2 (season 1 Reloaded Update)
New social feature coming to mw2 eco system (mw2)
Next, they show off the new social feature they're adding to the Modern Warfare 2 ecosystem. With groups, anyone can form one, and you can form one on anything. If you want to make a DMZ-only group or a war zone-only group, that's for people who just want to play Modern Warfare 2 in general. It doesn't even have to be about the game; if you want to make a group based off of a sports team or something you like doing outside of the game, you can.
The whole point of this is to be able to find other people to play with who have common interests or goals; you can make a trying to get Orion group if you really want to; the group can have up to 5, 000 people in it; and it has a text chat, so you're going to be able to quickly text with all the other people in your group if you want to type in hey. I'm about to play some DMZ; you want to hop in, then other people would be able to respond and you can meet up with them.

I'm going to be making a group once this update drops, so if you want to join that, keep an eye out for it because, keep in mind, only 5, 000 people are going to be able to join it then.
This skin got a massive nerf in mw2 (la theifs cdl skin)
It looks like they've actually nerfed the Rose 4.0 skin. If you've been playing Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2, I am sure you ran into a lot of people running the CDL La Thieves skin. This is a completely blacked-out skin, and in darker areas, it's really hard to see. A lot of people have been using this to hide in different areas, however.
If we look at the blog post, we can actually see that with the updated version for season one reloaded, they've added a lot more red to it and made it way more vibrant, so if you're using this skin to hide in areas, it's no longer going to be really powerful, and we're going to be able to just kind of sit in a dark corner and not be able to be seen.
I'm glad they did this, however. It kind of suckers all the people who have already spent the money to be able to get this advantage.
Warzone 2 combat record coming (with a catch)
KD, all that stuff. It's only going to track stuff going forward, so once you have one win, it's going to say you have one win.

Hopefully this is part of the war zone combat record, but I guess we're just not going to know till the 14th next time they give us more information on it.
What are raids in mw2?
The biggest part of the Season One Reloaded update is the new RAID Mode. They tell us we're going to be playing as Price, Pharaoh, and Glass, and this is going to take place right after the campaign ends.
We're going to be making a grim discovery in an underground bunker.
The ultimate reward for beating raids in mw2
They even tell us the reward for completing the raid: if you beat the raid on normal difficulty, you're going to unlock Glass as a playable character. This is cool because they almost never add DLC characters to Call of Duty that they allow you to unlock.
There is going to be a harder version of the raid you can unlock
On top of this, once you beat it, you're going to unlock a harder difficulty playlist that will test even veteran operators.
Raids will have unlockable cosmetic items via intel in mw2
You can expect to find plenty of Intel that rewards additional cosmetic items in addition to some intriguing data that provides about the Modern Warfare 2 universe. So on top of unlocking Glass, you're going to get a harder difficulty version of The Raid. They don't tell us if you're going to unlock anything additional, but if you beat this harder difficulty version, I'd assume you'd unlock something.
I don't think they're just going to add an even harder difficulty that's supposed to be really, really hard, even for veteran operators, and not have you unlock anything, but on top of this, there's also going to be some Intel around the raid that, if you collect it, you're going to get some additional cosmetic items.
Items probably include a weapon blueprint, a charm, or some other basic item.
Quickest way to beat raids in mw2
Stuff like that, as always, once they add raids into Modern Warfare 2. I'm going to show you the quickest way to beat the raid the quickest way to beat it on the harder difficulty and all the rewards you get, and then I'm going to show you all the different unlockable cosmetic items and how to get those different items.
How to unlock a raid assignment key in mw2 (important)
But one thing to note before you can even do : In a raid, you have to unlock it; you just can't go in and play the mode without unlocking it. A raid requires a raid assignment, which can be earned through the following methods: complete a specific daily challenge in either multiplayer or special operations within the top 20 in any war zone.
2 Battle Royale playlist, and DMZ uses the Final Extra helicopter. With at least $30,000 in cash, a raid assignment is earned, and that player and whatever squadmates they choose to bring in can access the raid for a full week. So no, you can't just go play the mode whenever you want; each week you're going to have to unlock a raid assignment, and with that, you can bring in two friends to play with you. It doesn't seem that hard to read through this stuff; you should easily be able to go in within 30 to 45 minutes and earn this radius.
Gaz paid unlock (mw2 season 1 reloaded)
I'm not sure why they decided to do this, but that's how it's being done. Glass is also going to be in an operator bundle if you don't want to do the raid but still want to unlock Glass as a playable character.
However, they're doing something kind of cool with this.

How to unlock the raid for Glass's Convoy skin is also available with the store bundle to get the Aquatic skin, so they're both going to be different skins. The one you buy in the bundle is not going to be the same skin you get for doing the raid, however.
If you do both the raid and purchase the bundle, you're going to unlock a third skin called the "Grass Op" skin as a bonus reward, so not only are you going to get one for doing the raid and one for doing the bundle if you do both, you'll actually have three different glass skins, which is kind of cool and I'm glad they're doing that.
Klaus holiday operator (mw2 season 1)
They're also adding a Klaus bundle as well, and this is more of a holiday-themed bundle. They've got a Santa hat with some red and green all over it. We'll review this once it officially comes into the game.
New dlc chimera unlock (honey badger)
We've We've known for a long time that the honey badger was coming with Season One Reloaded, called the Chimera, and we did get some additional details on how it's going to be unlocked, including how to unlock weapons.
Challenge RVs, and store bundles. This is notable because the m13b was only unlockable via DMZ; it never got a store bundle, and to this day there is not a bundle that you can buy to get the m13b, with you still having to go into DMZ to be able to unlock it in the new area and DMZ building 21.
