News - Warzone: New Close Range Meta Loadouts After Update. Warzone 2 Best Setups

Average players would be able to do this, but maybe not as consistently because, just straight up, your finger is going to get tired, right? You're going to have that human error from time to time, but average players might struggle with this one a bit more, so it's either a really good choice or not really a great option depending on your level of skill, but really, we built this thing out just like we would our MP5 40-round mag TCg10, rear grip here as well as mobile, stock here as well as a seven milliwatt laser, and then I'm not really a huge fan of these barrels in particular for the Shroud.

I mean, grapple wouldn't be terrible if you wanted more mid-range-based gunfights there, but for me, I just go for overpressured. Ammo induces that extra flinch. You could also throw on, you know, hollow point or even frangible if you wanted to; those are all good options for ammo in any given case for any sub, but this works well for me, and, you know, like I said, if you got that good trigger finger, this thing is just dumb broken.

Now SMGs. Are not the only part of the close range metal; we also got a couple of ARS in here for some sniper support that you can use as more close range-based rifles, and I really wanted to highlight the best of the best here for these, so the Chimera as we know it is. Just disgusting at close range, its first damage range is a pretty steep one, like 25 to 26 meters, if I remember correctly.

It's a good distance for close-range fights where it's going to have a very fast ttk, and then just in the mid-range in general, it's going to be outgunning a lot of other rifles and SMGs. There it's great for sniper support, and this is a nice sort of hybrid build that you can run and gun with because it's got good mobility, but you can still stay steady in the mid-range as well, so 45 running cinemag very standard extended mag option, ruin flash rear grip, better ads, and sprint to fire to speed things up.

I do go for the amount V4 for the mid-range there, and this is also a scope that you can use in mid-range, and it's not like too zoomed in obviously, so I like the visuals of this if you like the iron sights. You could, you know, drop this throw on a Mobility stock throwing like a compensator or something; that's totally up to you.

Seven milliwatt laser again for the ads and Sprint to fire, then I go for the Phoenix Barrel mainly for the mid-range bass fights here for the sniper support. Style with the range, velocity, and control benefits. That said, if you want to focus more on close range, swap over to vorpole for better movement speed and ad speed.

That would also work well there, but this is a super versatile gun right now. You can build it in a bunch of different ways.

This build in particular, though, I'm really liking the feel of, and lastly, we've got the FR advancer. Another fantastic, close-to-mid-range option, this one especially thrives in that mid-range; it's got the best ttk there; it is also relatively low recoil; plus, the irons here are super clean, so I don't use an optic in this case instead.

I'm going for the ion rear grip straight up for better control, which is going to make the weapon easier to stay on target. A 60-round mag is something I do opt for instead of 45, even for sniper support, just because this fire rate is kind of crazy; you do burn through ammo, so you're going to have as much as you can get.

close range meta

I go for the Ripper under Barrel; just trade up for the better stability, gonna make that pattern a bit more predictable. The Harbinger suppressor does offer some control along with some range and some velocity, as does the F435 barrel. This has better control and velocity as well, so this is definitely a slower sniper support build than the Chimera, but in that mid-range, it's going to be maybe a bit easier to consistently land shots on target there.

It really just comes down to whether you like the feel of the Chimera more or the Advance more; they're both fantastic options. There's no wrong answer, but in general, it's great for Sniper support in that close-to-mid-range AR style, which, being said, is the current close-range meta here in Warzone after the season 5 reloaded update, and that's going to wrap things up.
