News - Warzone 2 Season 2 Update Revealed - Multiplayer Season 2 Details

modern warfare 3

200 in real life we've seen the ARX. 160 before in Call of Duty and Call of Duty ghost and advanced Warfare but we've never seen the ARX. 200 which is the 762, version of the gun and to unlock this you can do it in an inseason weekly challenge so I'm not sure which week that will show up but hopefully we get it soon then we're going to have a new melee weapon called The Soul render and it's just kind of a sword looking thing, and it doesn't really tell you how you can unlock it so maybe this is a bundle I don't know if it's a melee weapon. I'm not too excited about it, but maybe if you want it and you want to waste 20 bucks, go for.

New aftermarket parts

New aftermarket parts

It man Along with these new weapons are seven new aftermarket parts, which will be fed to us via weekly challenges, just like we saw in season 1, and the first one is absolutely crazy; it is called the limb Ripper, and it is an underbarrel chainsaw, which you can equip on several different weapons.

The knife is really good in this game, so I'm worried that the chainsaw might also be really good in this game. Maybe there's a lunge with it; we'll have to wait and see, but that one scares me. Then there's the backck KET for the hogre 556. This is basically a stockless mod; you take the stock off for faster, more agile tactics, then there's the mag lift kit for the haym maker, which reinforces the Magwell, bolts, and trigger assembly to accommodate the extra-large drum magazine.

modern warfare 3 season 2

It doesn't specify how many rounds are in the extra-large drum magazine, but it's got to be absurd. Then we have the Outlaw 277 kit for the Bass B battle rifle. This conversion kit transforms the bass B into a lever-action rifle, slowing the fire rate while vastly improving accuracy for deadlier precision.

That sounds wild; it sounds really fun, and I hope it's good. There are a couple more that are listed but not pictured. The first is called burnout for the hoger 26, which gives the hogre a select fire mode called burnout that provides a dramatically increased fire rate but can overheat and expand the barrel, introducing a spread that sounds kind of cool.

Then there's the Tyrant 76 kit for the longbow. This caliber conversion kit swaps out the receiver and magazine to accommodate 762 blackout ammunition for harder-hitting subsonic weapons. The last time we heard about this in season 1, it was on the road map for that, but we never got it. The glassless optic, a small glassless reflex, offers a crisp and clear sight picture for snappy target acquisition.

Hopefully, we will actually see that one this time. I don't know what happened there, but it never came in season 1.

New perk: ninja vest

New perk: ninja vest

Now on to the controversial item here: the new perk: the ninja vest, the silent melee, and throwing weapon specialists. The fact that it lists this means that people are thinking that you're only able to use melee weapons with it; it doesn't explicitly state that, which is why this is really confusing because there's really no drawback.

modern warfare 3 season 2 update

Your equipment slots you get all three; your tactical lethal field upgrade; your gear slots you get three; you get gloves, boots, and gear, so basically. This vest eliminates footstep sounds it makes you immune to movement reduction effects so like stuns and stuff which is crazy, there's bonus shuriken and throwing knife ammo and you resupply the shuriken and throwing knives every 25 seconds duplicate effects do not stack if equipped with covert sneakers gain the effects of running sneakers so basically the deal here is you can have ninja with this vest and lightweight and run around like crazy, and be silent the whole time it's really good for knife only play but I don't know if you've noticed the knife in Modern Warfare 3 is already super powerful, and this is going to make it that much more annoying so it's kind of unfortunate even if it is only Knife Only but like man if you can use guns with this I don't understand what the balance is like there's got to be a con to this I don't see any cons.

So I don't know; we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

New game modes

New game modes

I I guess there will be five new game modes coming with season 2; three of them will be coming at launch, and these include team gun game snipers only and hordo, which is making a return all the way back from 2017. In Call of Duty World War II, hordo is basically hardpoint, but as you're holding down the hardpoint, not only do you need to defend yourself from other players, you also need to defend yourself from zombies that are constantly rushing you.

It's a chaotic IC and really cool game mode. There are other game modes coming in season; there's a limited-time mode called Jugger MOS that's coming in midseason. And this is a third-person game mode where everyone is wearing a juggernaut suit. You kind of play kill, confirm domination, and hardpoint, but from a third-person perspective, and you all have juggernaut suits, which is definitely different.

Then there is a game mode coming back from Modern Warfare 2 called Bounty, which is basically like a TDM sort of mode, but one person has a flag, and you get more points for killing the person with the flag, pick up the flag, and then you become the target.

Vortex: decay's realm

They're also bringing in a limited-time Vortex playlist called Doom's Realm, and this is a little bit different.

You can play on the old, existing Vortex maps, and you can also play on the new ones. Skid Grow and Airborne, and you'll be able to play Team Deathmatch domination, kill confirmed, and hardpoint on this rotation. They're almost where I want them to be with this. I want them to introduce these maps into the normal rotation.

I want to play Search and Destroy on these maps. I don't want to be limited to these and also put them in private maps, but we're making steps in the right direction when it comes to these remixed maps.

Ranked play updates

Ranked play updates

Last but not least are the ranked play updates. Of course, we're entering a new season of ranked play, and with that come new rewards for wins and skill division.

The win rewards aren't pictured, but I'll kind of go through them. At five wins, you get a sticker. 10 wins, and you get the pro issue. MCW weapon blueprint, 25 wins you get the farm them charm, 50 wins you get hard days work weapon decal, 75 wins you get Modern Warfare 3 season 2 competitor loading screen, and 100 wins you get Modern Warfare 3 season 2 ranked veteran weapon camo, and you can also get weapon camo for your skill division, and each skill division kind of has their own camo.

Obviously, the higher skill divisions have cooler-looking camos, and even some of them have animated camos, so I really like this show-off that you really grinded and that you're good at the game.
