News - The "new" Season 2 Update Is Here. Warzone 2 Weapons, Battle Pass, The Walking Dead
Ah, ladies and gentlemen. Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 is officially here well kind of so for some reason Call of Duty decided to release literally everything about this season. The new season doesn't even start until next week. We have the entire season 2 battle pass, all the new skins, camos, and weapons coming, and honestly, man, it's looking like an amazing season.
This, right guys so on your screen is the season 2 road map starting February 7, so starting out with the war zone content and the return of Fortune's Keep, we haven't seen this map. I believe since Vanguard new contracts a weekly zombie Target Squad wipe streak, we also have some new areas in the fortunes keep map.
If you see right here features like Wonder Weapons, zombie powerups, signaling public events, and portable decontamination stations, there's going to be Wonder Weapons now in War Zone; that's kind of crazy, and also, man, we are going to be getting Resurgence-ranked play for War Zone. Next up, we're going to be moving on to Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, and we have a lot of maps actually coming, which I'm pretty hyped about.
We get a new 6x6 map called Stash House, and I believe this is going to be a pretty, small map. I'm very excited. I usually love the smaller maps, like Shoot House, Shipment, Rust, or me. We also have another 6v6 map, Vista, which I believe Stash House and Vista are going to be at launch, and then on top of Stash House in Vista, we're getting departures.
Another 6v6 map, if you see right here later on in the season, we're getting Dos House Remaster. Dos House from Vanguard is returning later on in the season, and it's going to be a little bit more of a remaster type. Vibe, it's not going to be the same map, but obviously it will have the same layout.
We're also getting a brand new war map this season. We're getting Skid Grow and Airborne. These are variant maps. I think to go along with the Walking Dead event, it's going to be more of a postapocalypse. Vibe for Skidrow, and I believe terminal, so that's going to be cool. We have new modes coming for the team gun game.
We also have Bounty in Season Hordo, who is returning as an LTM sniper only, and Jugger MOS LTM, which is, I don't know what that's about, so getting some new zombie content. We got new story missions, a new dark ether Rift, new schematics, and a new warlord jumping over to the weapons and operators new weapons, the BP50.
This is not really a new weapon. This is actually the FN2000 from Modern Warfare 2, the O.G. version, but this is the BP50 and the same exact gun we saw in Vanguard. I feel like this season we're seeing a lot of Vanguard Vibes. We have Fortune's Keep, we have the BP50, and we have DOS House, but I believe this will be a brand new assault rifle found in the battle pass.
We also have the ram 9 going into the battle pass, so this might be a new SMG; it's kind of like the ram 7, but maybe an SMG version will also have later on in season the S SOA subverter, which maybe looks like a new battle rifle. A new AR, and then later on in season as well, we're getting the soul render, which is going to be a brand new melee weapon.
Of course, man, we're going to be getting some new aftermarket parts, and I'm very excited to see them look like chainsaws. Attached to the gun are also new operators; at least we're also getting a brand new vest, the Ninja Vest, which is very awesome, like a new addition to the vest in your Crea.
A class is definitely going to change up the meta and change up the game a little bit. We're also getting John Doe as a black cell upgrade, and of course we got new events: Horde Hunt, the Year of the Dragon, and the CRP boot camp. The Walking Dead fear the living, and the vortex decays realm later on in season.
The new operators, of course, are Rick Grimes, who is going to be in the battle pass, and Michonne, who will be available later on in the season. I also believe we're getting Dune Part 2 and Event as well. I think there's going to be a new Tracer pack and a new event later on. Overall, this season is jam-packed with weapons, maps, and events with things to look forward to.
I'm excited for the Walking Dead event and all these new events. Year of the Dragon, literally another Vortex game mode Yeah, Sledgehammer is really cooking up, of course. Along with the release of the road map, we got a huge blog just detailing everything, so at launch, we are going to be getting the departures.
Map it is a core 6v6 map medium to large so it definitely looks more on the larger end we are going to be receiving this map on launch day one we also have Stash House like I said this is going to be a new core 2v2, n 6v6, map and as you can see this map is very small. It looks like there's a little bit more on the outside, but then also, just all the action takes place in that middle household, so this might be a crazy map to grind camos grind challenges This might be a substitute, and the shipment is also getting Vista on launch.
This looks like a medium-sized map; it looks great in color. Good Vibes, I feel like Sledgehammer has been doing an awesome job with the new maps that they're actually adding; they're not remastered or remakes of older maps. These are brand new maps, and I think they're really listening, and of course, Dos House Midseason is a remastered one.
It almost looks like it's on like the top of a building that was being constructed, but it's not actually finished. Also, for the variant maps, they're going to be in the midseason; we got Airborne, which is confirmed to be terminal; this one's looking really cool; and also, the second map variant is for Skro, coming in the midseason.
I love the vibes of this one as well. You're also going to get some new rewards for ranked season 2 for mul players, and of course you can earn more camos as you win more matches throughout the season. We also have a little bit more information on the new perk, the ninja vest, which will be available on launch.
You're going to have silent melee and throwing. Weapon Specialist, it also eliminates the footstep. Sounds, immunity to movement, reduction effects bonus shuen and throwing knife ammo, and you can resupply the shuen and throwing knives every 25 seconds. Also, it is confirmed that the BP50 is once again an assault rifle.
Like I said, this is a weapon from Vanguard. So yeah, we've kind of already used it. We also have the Ram 9, which, like I said in the beginning, is going to be the submachine gun version of the Ram 7. It's a counterpart. It's a Bullpup SMG. It's very lethal at close range. It says the S SOA subverter is a battle rifle coming later on in the season, so I kind of guess that, and the new Soul render melee weapon looks absolutely insane.
