This is the striker 9 SMG in Modern Warfare 3-ranked play; it is the closest pound-for-pound competitor. To the Rival 9 SMG, which is the current meta, taking an objective look at these weapons statistics shows that the striker 99's damages are higher, allowing for a four-shot kill and capping at a five-shot kill at its closest distances, while the Rival 9's minimum shot is going to be five, and it does go down to a six-shot kill if you shoot the legs.

The striker 9's damage ranges are also a little bit better for what you need from an SMG, as it doesn't go out as far, but it's minimum, and it does extend further than the Rival Nines. The recoil controls are damn near identical in terms of the percentages, but in use, the striker N9 is a much easier weapon to use because the recoil pattern is much more predictable.

The Rival will take the edge and rate of fire ever so slightly from the striker N9ine, but in terms of mobility and handling, they are not different enough that you would notice in practice. The guns have their own insane strengths, because I think the striker 9 is the better option for the average player because you don't have to worry about aiming at any part of the body; you can just hit the legs, and you'll still kill with the same amount of bullets as if you're hitting chest shots, but those are just my thoughts.
