News - This Is Why You Suck At Warzone 2
I wasn't really feeling that nice, but there are a few technical things that you can change with the game to give yourself an advantage, like for example UFO, PC, or now console player. I think on any console you can change the field of view and the options all the way up to 120, but bear in mind that if you're on a console, especially one of the older ones, that might actually have a negative impact on your frame rate.
I don't know if anyone's done any testing on that yet, but it'd be interesting to see also change the ad's field of view to "affected," which is going to give you less visual recall on the screen, and then make sure that you disable both the motion blur settings and the depth of field effect. I don't know if you've noticed these firefights that we've been in too much in this game, but you can really take advantage of them when you've damaged an enemy enough to break their plates.
Plating in this game takes a lot longer; you can't sprint and plate at the same time, so if you feel like you've broken someone, maybe. They're the last in the squad, and you feel like you can push them, but don't be afraid to attack them and finish them off before they have a chance to heal because of that window of opportunity.
Here is a bit wider than it was in war zone one. In terms of what guns to use, there are a lot of good choices. I've been favoring the M4, the TAC 56, and the McPR sniper rifle SMGs. I've found the Mini Back and the MP5 to be quite strong, among other packages. I just take the one with Ghost; you're not going to be on UAVs unless you fire, and then there's a sweep, so keep that in mind.
Still really good for flanking in war zones, we're coming to the end of the game here; a lot of games tend to just end around here, like in the center of the map. I feel like maybe there's something wrong with the circle splits, but there's not much hardcover here, and if you find yourself in a similar situation to this, all hope is not lost because you can use natural cover.
So we know there's a squad on the left, and we know there's one down the valley, but just moving to the road down there that's given us a little dip and we can use that to hide, wait for the next zone, and then push in positioning is super important in this game, especially because of how the map is designed.
You want to always go for the high ground if you can. Don't get stuck on the low ground like that guy. Don't really run out in the open unless you absolutely have to, and if you do have to tactically sprint, use bushes as cover or rocks. And here you see some of the effects of my storage—some of those things that we picked up at the strongholds and the black sites using the kill streaks using the Recon drone.
The bomb drone is super OP in this game. I think it's going to get enough power because you can barely hear it, but that's very good; use it wisely. You can also tell the recon drone to just hover in the air and spot things, but people haven't really figured that out yet. Of course, you can get something up in the air from cover, you can spot people, you can just let it hover and it does it automatically, and of course, when it comes to those last few kills, don't take 1v1s.
Unless you absolutely have to work with your team to close in on the victory, that's about all I've got for you guys. The meta, the tactics, and the gameplay will change over time as the game evolves and as the community shares tips and tricks with each other, but hopefully you found this article helpful or insightful in some way.
