News - The New Warzone Fixes Everything
That will no longer occur. Redeploy drones are now in a fixed position and will not move unless they get really deep into the gas, meaning that you can now use redeploy drones in the gas to rotate into the zone. These drones also now send you further across the map than they have before, with more velocity as well, allowing you to move from A to B even quicker.
This is a big one for the fluidity and feeling of the Call of Duty War Zone, and that is that now you will have a reduced amount of slowdown when landing from a jump, so whether you've jumped off of the story of a building or jumped out of a window, or you've generally gone for some sort of jump shot on your opponent, there will be less slowdown when you initially hit the floor.
This was a huge issue when you were flanking out of a building where you jumped out of a window, like in the first story, and it was like your character broke his legs and was unable to move for, you know, a second or two. It really slowed down the gameplay flow and made the game feel clunky, and that has been greatly reduced in the new version of War Zone.
Alongside seeing more goolag entry tokens and the ability to loot the goolag for more cash, another way the players are going to be having a boost midgame and boost endgame is that there will now be more contracts available in the entire map. More specifically, there will be more contracts in the late stages of the game, allowing you opportunities to regain cash and bring your squad back into the game.
Contracts will no longer be hiding in tiny little mobile phones that you can't find anymore; they will now be appearing on laptop devices that will be more obvious to see and more explicitly clear what contract it is that you're collecting from a visual standpoint. This is once again a significant change that should increase the number of players alive in the midgame and the endgame.
Despite the fact that the game has a reduced player count, and finally, this one's been a source of frustration in the past for me. If you're somebody who hates it when you get into vehicles, there's this huge delay before you can actually physically move the vehicle you're in that is now gone. The input delay when you get into a vehicle has been cut by 50%, making it far more fluid and mobile.
They'll be even more in the patch notes when War Zone releases, but overall, I'm genuinely really impressed. On this channel for the past year. I've had to talk about all the ways that it feels like War Zone has gone backwards, the ways that it feels like War Zone has regressed, and the fact that it felt like Infinity Ward either didn't play War Zone, didn't care to play War Zone, or they did care and just thought our feedback was useless.
This first set of patch notes for the new iteration of War Zone is a comprehensive list of all the problems that I've experienced over the last year that's addressing the vast majority of those issues, it's going to massively reduce the amount of frustration from game to game and things that will annoy you in a standard game of war zone which is a huge thing for a battle royale game and more importantly it reads as though Raven software have been playing war zone they understand the things that are right with war zone they understand the things that are right with war zone and they're willing to make significant changes to server play accounts.
Circle timings and pretty much anything necessary to facilitate a good war zone experience. In my opinion, it was utterly criminal that Raven software were still always kind of put to the by line or told to step back in charge of this war zone in the first place whilst they were still always kind of there these were the folks who ultimately improved the original war zone to where it got to and they understand the game more than pretty much anybody else, so it's very refreshing and good to see that they are back in charge of this war zone and it looks like we're in for a very good initial couple of months.
So folks, that's about it for this article today. Make sure you subscribe and are on the road to 200.
