Welcome back to a brand new article. In this one, we're going to be covering Modern Warfare 3 zombies, talking about all the upcoming content that we know of so far based on official announcements from Call of Duty as well as leaks. You can expect some of this content to come out as early as season 1 reloads, with others also coming in during season 2.

New mwz season 1 reloaded content update
With the season 1 reloaded update starting on January 17th, we've already gotten so much leaks and information in regards to the multiplayer, side, and war zone sides, and it seems like zombies have been left out of the equation. Call of Duty really hasn't mentioned or announced much in regards to what content to expect from it; they've only announced so far that we are going to be receiving a brand new warlord.
And that is going to be Doabe. We have talked about her in the past. This will be a new warlord available in her own fortress. You will need a key card to access that fortress, and once you are inside, you'll need to eliminate her. She uses different equipment, such as lethals as well as killstreaks, and she uses UAVs.
Somehow, she uses breacher drones, proximity mines, emps, counter UAVs, and all these different types of items. Unfortunately, this was the only thing that was officially announced by Call of Duty as new content coming to zombies in their season 1 road map. Usually, what they do with these road maps is tease at what's to come during the mid-season update, for example, MW2.
They teased that Rio was going to be the third map coming in the midseason update, along with Team Gunfight and headquarters for War Zone. They teased that we would get cover X fills, we would get a brand new weapon case, and we would also get a new championship and quest. The only thing that was teased for zombies was this brand new Warlord.
The good news is over on Reddit; they have confirmed that we may see more Act 4 missions, and this was commented on by them. They said clearing this up in Act 4 will include multiple missions and is available no matter if you complete Acts 1 through 3. There is one mission, which is a story, and Act 4 will continue the Modern Warfare zombie story over the next few seasons, so they have confirmed that we are going to get more additional missions, but they didn't confirm the release date, so we're not sure if we're going to get it in the midseason.
Update something else that could potentially release as early as the mid-season update, which is going to be the XFI streaks previously in Modern Warfare 2. I believe that was also introduced in season 1 of DMZ. Zombies is going to do the same exact thing you will now be rewarded for continuously, exfilling, without getting eliminated, and here's the entire street that we have, so the first one, after you fill one time and then you come back fill the second time, it says you start the next match with 500 Essence.
The next one after that says to start the next match with five armor plates, then you have to start the next match with 1, 000 Essence at streak number four, and you get a 30% discount at perk machines. At streak number five, you start the next match with 1,500. Six streaks are going to be a reward increase in contract payouts; seven are going to be starting the next match with 2,500.
Essence: at number eight, you get 50%, Off discount at mystery boxes at nine. You start the next match with 5, 000 Essence, and then at streak number 10, you get a 20% discount at a pack-a-punch. We also ended up seeing this photo here showcasing this person who gained 500 Essence. This was something that he was given on accident, so it is available in the game.
They just need to do a playlist update and make it go live. So this is a feature that they can literally introduce at any point. My guess is that it would make sense for them to do it in the season 1 reloaded update.
Mwz act 5 missions & new exclusion zone
If you saw my last zombies article, you probably already know about this, but let's talk about some brand new information that we got. First, apparently there's going to be Act Five missions that are going to be introduced to zombies. Now here's where it gets a little confusing, because remember how we talked about Act Four introducing some new missions every single season?
So with season 2, there's going to be even more Act Four missions, but at the same time that we get this additional mission, there's also going to be Act Five being introduced. In season 2, at the same exact time, and according to leakers. Act Five is tied directly to a different type of zombie, which is going to be Nazi zombies, as we've seen in past Call of Duty titles; apparently, they're going to get updated and changed to be Nazi zombies.
And you may be very confused as to why they would do what's going on, but this may make a little bit of sense because I came up with the theory that it could potentially be for a new exclusion zone, a brand new area, if you recall with DMZ. In that new exclusion area, and just like last year, we ended up getting Shika Island introduced in season 2.
This year, we can see Fortune Ski being introduced in season 2, which is actually confirmed at COD. Next, if you take a look at Call of Duty's pattern, it seems like they're keeping that same style this year as well. Whereas they introduced the war zone map in December during the season 1 update, they did that without Al Mazra; they've also done that with Yix Stand, and now they're introducing the small map, which is going to be the replacement of Shika, and that is going to be Fortune.
keep so with them adding that more than likely zombies are also going to get that similar update to where they will have a new boss being added and a brand new exclusion. Zone: There might be a couple tier zone areas in this map as well, and on top of that, there's going to be different unique missions that are available only and exclusively.
This brand new map, which I'm going to guess is going to be Act Five, will probably stay in your's extend to where you can play the big map and continue the story line and the missions that way, and then maybe you can jump into the Act Five missions if you want to do it as sort of like a side quest, and they probably won't be tied or connected.
