News - Warzone Just Canceled The New Weapons
Was warzone␙s final new weapons update canceled?
As we've been talking about recently, we've had some sort of surprise updates and leaks in War Zone and MW2 lately in regards to what could be the final new weapons update for the initial year of MW2. Essentially, in this update or in these leaks, we are getting references to two weapons that we've seen before in COD sort of being remade and remastered for MW2.
One is the Brewing MK2, which is supposedly going to be known as the Brean MK9, and the other is the F556, obviously a burst rifle that we saw back in MW 2019.

But we are starting Here first on Twitter, detonated dcom posted something that sort of summarizes this really well, but as you guys know, we've talked about this a couple of times already in some previous articles. A couple of days ago, the Bruin MK9 and the fr556 were leaked to be coming to MW2.
DMZ, and War Zone because they were actually found in some War Zone mobile patch notes, basically, and War Zone mobile. MW2, and War Zone share the same weapons updates for the most part, and you can see new weapons in the fr556 Brew and MK2. In the files, there were supposedly Mastery, you know, texts updated for the F 556 and Bruce MK9.
As it's now known, the evidence was there that these were going to be coming to MW2 in the war zone, but some things have actually been updated.

So shout out to Arados. Over on Reddit, they actually posted this, which is perfect for breaking down this discussion here. The bruan was also supposed to be coming, and obviously that didn't happen, but if we actually take a look at this image here and zoom in, and we go all the way over to the Mastery Charm here on the right, you guys can see it says dual commas, season 603.
Out of 5, so this is saying that the dual commas are weapon number three out of five for the season. For season six, obviously, if we're missing two, the f556 And the bruan would fill into what that slot could be now if you look at the ISO 9 and we scroll over to this one as well with the Mastery This one says it's weapon 02 out of 05, again indicating there are five total weapons coming this season, but if we look at the Guist, which was apparently newly updated, and we scroll over to this Mastery, it says this: Guist season 6 weapon one, out of three.
So this has been changed to only say there's three weapons for season 6, which would obviously add up with the bruan in the F556. Being in the game now and there being absolutely no official mention of these existing in the game Beyond those war zone mobile leaks and the Mastery text file leaks as well, while we do have some conflicting information, it's important to note that technically the G charm is the main weapon for the season, but in our actuality it's the first weapon.
It's saying there's only going to be three for this season. I know there's been a lot of talk about.
Is there a season 6 reloaded update for warzone 2 & mw2?
Okay, well, what's going to happen with season 6 reloaded, or is there a chance that these weapons could be coming, you know, with an official update later on? For one, we have to keep in mind that MW3 is right around the corner, and every single year when the new Cod drops, that's where all the attention goes.
The old Cod from the previous year doesn't really see all that many updates. Now I'll talk about something potential here. You know, something potentially happening in just a moment, but as far as a season 6 reloaded goes, we also have literally zero mention of anything called season 6 reloaded, officially from Cod.
I've seen some people say, Okay, well, the haunting is going to end on, like, November 5th or November 6th or something like that. Campaign Early Access drops on the 2nd of November, and the full game for MW3 drops on the 10th. Personally, I'd be very surprised if we got an update post-campaign Early Access.
I feel like at that point every single new thing that's happening in COD is going to be a reveal for MW3, an announcement of some kind, so personally. I'd be really surprised if that happens, but as far as could this be reserved, could these new weapons be happening with season 6 reloaded? Nothing in the official announcement for season 6 says season 6 Reloaded: The Haunting, which is what we just got, is obviously midseason. And we've never had a reloaded update that was not the midseason update; they've always been sort of connected there, and everything that is for the mid-season content has been a part of that season's reloaded update, so we can even go through and, you know, control F search for the name reloaded; not a single thing pops up here zero out of zero, so there is literally no mention of any reloaded update happening whatsoever, so that also points towards these weapons not actually making it into the game, but like I said, there's one potential here, and there's two potentials realistically.
When could we see new weapons in warzone?
However. I'm still, you know, skeptical of each shoutout in the Cod Warfare Forum because they posted this again, summarizing things really well, but as we talked about recently, there's several different things in the game right now for some reason that are pointing towards Halloween nights initially.
With the daily login rewards, you get this new blueprint for the Bryson shotgun, and on it there's the sticker that says Captain Price's Revenge. Tuesday, October 31st, 8:00 p.m. Alma's, a city that is seemingly pointing towards something happening on Halloween night in the game, but again, as of right now, no mention of any live event or anything happening completely, just silence on that front, so maybe something's happening; maybe this is just some fun lore going on.
It's also convenient to note what's written on the sculp of the Bryson. Bruin, so I mean again pointing towards the weapon happening and something potentially happening on Halloween night. Also, there's this Ral blueprint that's in the battle pass for the cackling bones, and on the VK 3 times optic, it says Tuesday, October 31st, 8:00 p.m.
Al Mazra City Brewing again, so I don't know what's going on here it's very bizarre that we have all these things pointing towards October 31st and because of these connections, again like I said it's possible not guaranteed by any means and I still think it's less likely than anything but it's possible that maybe on Halloween night there's going to be some kind of Eventing game or some update that goes live that does actually bring the Bruins to the game and maybe brings the FR fr556 to the game that's an option, but again no official confirmation here that's coming up in just a few days time I feel like Call of Duty would have announced, something we'll have to keep our eyes peeled.
