The missions are pretty simple, and they give you really clear instructions. Go to it; you either do something there that will probably spawn enemies towards you or it will tell you to go to A, then to B, then to C, all while taking on enemies, so they're all really easy to do now. If you choose to use vehicles, there are a number of them spread out; there is a gas station now, so you will need fuel; however, the fuel is really generous, and it's not something that you should be worried about whatsoever.
Now, the shopping carts themselves are spread out across the map, and these are really important; they will allow you to buy self-revives and other things like that are really useful musician boxes and armor plates. Now you're going to need money before you do that, and the easiest way to do that is to select a contract owed to you.
You can ping that so you think it comes up on your map, and then you can just head towards that location, killing enemies along the way and looting the buildings on the way to it. Complete the mission, and then you can take that well-earned cash and turn it into more armor plates or a self-revive.
Self-revive is something that you should prioritize, particularly if you're running solo, because that gives you a second opportunity. But even if you're in squads, if somebody snipes you from far away and your teammates are nowhere near you, you can get back up in the middle of the fight and still be able to provide cover for your teammates as well.
Now, once you've loaded in and gone to whatever objective you need to do, it's about finding an extraction, so there will be a plenty of extractions across the map as you can see here. There are also other things that you should pay attention to. Once you start getting stronghold keys, which can drop from a variety of enemies, you'll be able to go to these stronghold points.
Now, these stronghold points are not to be taken lightly; they have some of the most difficult enemies in the game, so you will need to make sure that you have a decent amount of kit or that you have some squad mates that will allow you to go in there and clear those out. Even with a squad mate, you can find yourself running into a shotgun and absolutely decimating.
If you're done with the strongholds, then you can go to the hydroelectric area here on this map, which will show you a weapons cache. Now, extracting the weapons case will give you one of the seven items that you are able to get mixture of emblems, calling cards, and skins. There are seven of these for you to collect, so you need to successfully kill the enemy, grab the box, and then extract with that as well.
There is a radiation zone here that has an enemy in it. This is how you unlock the m13b. You go into this radiation, kill a specific enemy, and extract. Once you have successfully removed that item, that weapon is available for you to use and start leveling up. The final thing that you'll need to do then is, obviously, make your way to an extraction.
The extractions themselves are really, really simple. I will think that as the game progresses, you will see these extraction points camped, but so far on day one, I haven't seen too much of that. We haven't run into any contact while being in those extraction modes, and as you can see, because there are only 65 players in these huge maps, it is very rare that you come across enemy teams.
If you want to, you can definitely avoid a lot of those enemy teams. Get your contracts and your missions done, and get out. You can even kind of avoid the AI, which will shoot at you if you get right up close and personal, but as you can see, I've just walked through the AI there and not really had any trouble at all.
