So we've got a little over a month left until season two of Modern Warfare 2 kicks off around February 1st. Assuming there are no delays or pushbacks or anything that changes that schedule for what we have now and rounding into the holidays here. I've finished my camo journey here, and having used most of the weapons again in some capacity since the update.

As we go along, drop your thoughts below. War Zone 2, and anything Cod related, and finally check out my friends at G-Shock for 20 off your entire order. More on them a bit later.

Disclaimers & understanding of top 10 rankings

For now, let's talk about these classes that you should be using in Modern Warfare 2. So to start, let me clarify that we're discussing Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer in this one, and as a result, your options for viable weapons are much higher than those you'd see in Warzone. You'll start to notice more clear differences in ttk damage drop-off and things of that nature in Warzone since you're playing in a much more open world with longer distances in gunfights and higher health values depending upon armor.

For this, however, there is a base of 100 health on weapons that can be mounted with TTKS. With less than half a second and a lot of engagements, the options increase, so while we're discussing my top 10 in terms of favorite weapons and what I think of as the best performing here to use, they are certainly not the only 10 that you can use, not by a mile.

That said, in no particular order.

Let's jump into the first few weapons by discussing the tactic and various platform homes of the first two weapons of discussion, the TAC 56 and Tack V. Now, the TAC 56 is honestly one of my favorite weapons in all of Modern Warfare 2. It is a weapon that is just like the M4, incredible easy to manage, but honestly.

I'd say it's more of a laser pointer than something like the M4 that you can just pick up and use whether you're a pro or a veteran. For this build, we do it a bit differently than what we do in war zones. We're going to try and balance accuracy, speed, and some of that control, whereas in war zones, we try to prioritize recoil control more than anything, so for this.

I'll run the Tundra 17.5-inch pro barrel, the F-TAC Ripper 56 under barrel, and the 40-round magazine. You feel a little bit too clunky with 60. Anyway, attack 56. great weapon; I absolutely love it.

Try its next weapon is the attack V, the battle rifle sibling of the attack 56, and this one is incredible because it's got even more damage than the TAC 56, but the only thing with this is there is a noticeable difference in terms of that recoil control, so if you want to kit it out for recoil control it's probably recommended, and I don't know that I take it at super long ranges as a preferred weapon because medium range is that sweet spot here with this just because, again, at distance, you'll notice more kick here, but for this but for this I end up running the Precision Barrel that 18 inch barrel for added damage, hip fire accuracy, and bullet velocity, with the F-TAC.

Ripper for a bit more aiming idle stability, and the F-TAC, the F-TAC, and the F-TAC, the F-TAC, the F-TAC, and the F-TAC, the F-TAC, the F-T, the F- Honestly, you're not going to lose much by choosing 30 over 50, the FSS combat grip, for that added recoil control, but because it is a larger weapon in and of itself.

I do like to put on a laser of the old V laser from FSS, which added aim-down sight speed, aiming stability, and sprint to fire speed. The only con with that is that your enemies will see your laser, so be careful where you are aiming or where you have that hit fire placement pointed.

But again, another one more powerful than the attack V but also incredibly easy to use beyond , we're going to go over to the Castovia platform and talk a bit about the cast of 762, which is At first, it is one of the easiest to control rifles, but also, with the not necessarily trade-off but added benefit of incredible damage for how easy it is to control this thing, it is very powerful for this.

For this, I'd run the Cast 10–584 millimeter barrel, the Polar Fire s muzzle, the FDAC Ripper 56 underbarrel, the 40-round magazine, and the Cronin Mini Pro optic as well. This follows in line with a build that we've talked about here in Warzone; it's very interchangeable. I think, in regards to both MP and Warzone, but one that I definitely don't think can go wrong with.

At all another incredible weapon Another sibling of the cast of 762 is that of the cast of 74U. Now, as we talked about in Warzone. I love to use this thing as a sort of hybrid between a rifle and an SMG, using it for more close quarters in Warzone so that I can end up getting the damage of a rifle but also the mobility of an SMG, and the same principle kind of applies here within MP, but again, because you have lower health values, you will notice that you can still fry with this, and the interesting part is that in the patch notes for season one, we're loaded, they said that they nerfed this.

but you really can't tell that it's still an incredible weapon, so for this. I'd recommend the short-tack 330 millimeter barrel, 45-round magazine, and true attack grip for a bit more sprint to fire and aim down sight speed. Markiv R7 stock for again a bit more Sprint speed and ads speed and then the FSS all the laser for that added aim down sight and Sprint to fire speed, so for the MP version and build of this I try to max out that ads speed and sacrifice a bit of the stealth aspect, whereas our war zone class would include a suppressor of some type to state not off the radar but off of these sort of just general vicinity of where people can hear you.

As an MP. I'm trying to always be in the action, so I don't really care if somebody hears my gunfire or sees me on the radar and then comes and tries to push me, so that's something that can't go wrong. still a very dominant weapon, but we've talked a lot about battle rifles. Let's talk quickly about some SMGs.

First off, the Fennec, which I still think is one of the best, if not the best. SMGs within all of Modern Warfare 2, statistically speaking, still has that long-range TTK locked up and solidified, though. It's just a matter of staying in control of that recoil when you're shooting at a distance because it does bounce quite a bit whenever you are holding down that trigger, but whenever you're in close quarters, you just shred through enemies.
