Intro

I got a B. Hello. I'm Arthur, also known as Adderson, and I've been doing War Zone full-time all the way back since it came out in the Verdan days, but something changed when we moved on to Alaza and Modern Warfare 2. Something with the mouse input happened; something doesn't feel consistent.

I've also been dabbling and making a couple of articles on trying to make it feel better, and where it always has been a little better, nothing hit the spot.

Until now, by no means do I consider my previous articles useless, and I suggest you watch them to get an even better experience on your mouse and keyboard playing Call of Duty.

I'll be adding them to a playlist with this article so they'll be easier for you to find, but out of all the fine tunings I've done, this is by far the best. Out of fixes in War Zone 2 and 3, to get your mouse to feel consistent by changing some numbers in the Call of Duty files, your flicks will feel just like they did back in the day.

Remember that feeling where you just had to think about where your shots wanted to land? Did yeah, and I'm going to show you how. Right now, remember that file I showed you when we were increasing our FPS in the war zone? Well, we're actually going to go straight back into that to fix our mouse in Modern Warfare 3 and War Zone, and don't worry, we're not going to change as many values as we did back then.

There's some math involved, though. For those of you who are new and haven't seen that article, I'm going to show you how to locate it. Go to the Call of Duty folder and documents, then proceed to players. Scroll down until you find options for COD 23. Here, you scroll all the way down to the bottom and look for Max Yaw speed in degrees for the GamePad and keyboard and Max pitch speed in degrees for the GamePad.

The values you see here are not the default values. They are my custom-calculated values for my mouse sensitivity. Inside of Modern Warfare 3 and War Zone, the default value here should be set to 140, dot followed by 6 Zer on both Max pitch and y'all, so how did I calculate that the perfect value for me was 1276.

100, 000 Well, there's a formula for this, and the credit actually doesn't go to me. I found it in a very small YouTuber's channel; he's called Chrys, and in one of his articles, he provided me with the coefficient values for Call of Duty. Side note: I am not speaking about the monitor distant coefficient; forget about the monitor distant coefficient; it has nothing to do with this.

I don't think Modern Warfare 2019 had these yaw and pitch values because, back then, I remember the file settings only having three options for the Target CPU course. And some other thing—I don't remember what it was anyway. The highlighted value there is my sensitivity; if I was on 800 DPI, don't worry, what DPI or sensitivity you have will not matter.

I just chose these numbers for it to be easier for you to comprehend, so what we're doing is simply taking the Call of Duty coefficient value and multiplying it with the mouse sensitivity value, and there we have our correct pitch and yaw speed values. Well, after moving around the decimals, of course, I also missed a zero in the calculator demonstration, but you get the idea.

Make sure you have the right amount of zeros afterwards, and then you're good to go close the file and hit save. If you like Call of Duty content, I actually mainly upload gameplay here on this channel, where I put one match per day with a different gun in solos with load-out classes included.
