News - Season 6 Reloaded Update, Halloween Live Event, Final Content Update (warzone 2 Update)
Welcome back to a brand new article today. What I got for you guys is that we're going to go over the last and final MW2, update the potential season 6 reloaded update, we're also going to talk about that Halloween event that might also be happening, and then we have some other news and information that I think you guys should know about.
We're also going to even talk about the scheduling of Modern Warfare 3 and what to expect this week and next week because these are going to be very big weeks for Call of Duty. Speaking of that. Call of Duty did drop a brand new blog post for Modern Warfare 3 pre-download; all the details, the file size, and all that good stuff have already been covered in the article uploaded earlier today, so check that out in the description.
One of the first things that we have is going to be the Modern Warfare 3 promotions beginning, so we talked about how Lil Caesars and Call of Duty are going to be collaborating to do some sort of promotion. I did talk about this a couple days ago, but we ended up getting some updated information, so there's now a website called Call of Duty.
Lil {329}, it seems like this might be the website where you're going to come in to redeem your codes. You'll be able to claim all your rewards very similarly to how it worked out with the Monster Energy collaboration, so the website is not yet live. It says unlock dual Double XP, plus earn other bonus in-game rewards and enter to win next-level gaming gear, and then it says the Lil Caesars in Call of Duty promotion will begin on November 1st; that's going to be at 11:00 a.m.
Eastern Standard Time. Check back to earn in-game rewards for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and enter our sweepstakes to win next-level gaming gear. You can also order from Lil Caesars, and unfortunately, the promotion has been confirmed to only be in North America, so you're only seeing it in the US.
Canada as well as Mexico, and it's not going to be available in the UK or other regions. With the rewards that you will get, it has been confirmed that you will get a Lil Caesar's operator skin, which will be available. I believe on your second purchase, so after the first purchase you're going to be able to cash that in for something like double XP, and then when you make a second purchase, you will be granted the Lil Caesar's operator skin for the purchase amounts; there has to be a limit of $3.
So maybe you can get like some bread sticks or something; they'll give you a receipt; you'll upload a photo of this receipt; then they'll scan it and verify that it's legitimate; they will give you the double XP added to your account; and then as you get more receipts and more uploads, you end up getting more rewards.
Awards: Some other promotions that have gone live are the Steel Series with their new MW3, and Collab has released a brand new limited edition MW3. Keycap they also ended up releasing a booster pack, which they said would be coming soon, and then they also have a mouse pad for Modern Warfare 3, and I also do believe Control Freaks has also released a Modern Warfare 3 collab as well.
Let's go on to the next topic that we have today, and this has to do with the season 6 reloaded update. So this is a very weird season. Typically, with every season, you get the big season update, and then a couple months later, usually like a month and a half, you end up getting the reloaded update, which brings in new content maps and weapons.
It fills up with like another event, those types of things, and then you go on and you jump into the next season after that with season 6. It sort of was like that, but it started off with the season 6 update dropping in three brand new weapons, a new battle pass, all that good stuff, and then the haunting event came around a month later, and that brought in even more content; it brought in the whole Halloween event; it brought in like the updated maps.
We also ended up seeing the Soul Capt event, which is going on right now, so I believe this was the season 6 reloaded update, and then Call of Duty confirmed that they're delaying the season a little bit further all the way up until December, which now extends the season by another month, so with the scheduling that we have, it didn't make sense that we would get any more content after the haunting update, mainly because of MW3.
Right around the corner, you have the campaign coming out at the end of this week; you also have multiplayer; and everything else is coming out at the end of next week. Usually, we know about these updates before they happen because leakers go into the files and find some things that hint at another update.
No leaker has said anything about the season 6 reloaded update up until a couple days ago, when Forward ended up posting this, and he said the patch notes ended up leaking some brand new weapons that we don't yet have in MW2. These patch notes were for War Zone Mobile; this was for the new weapons, the FR 5.56.
Which is the Famas which is a different variant of the Famas or the advancer that we have right now and then the second weapon being the Bruin MK9, that was also added in the war zone patch notes this was something this was a weapon that we saw in the past was in the files of MW2, and would come at some point but we just never saw it they never got around to bringing it in these patch notes were for war zone mobile and we know that war zone mobile and Call of Duty are connected, now when they did these patch notes they didn't mean to release and put these weapons in that list so they quickly edited out and removed it so it seemed like they sort of teased new content that was coming in but it didn't actually happen I personally when I saw that I didn't think that it would be too big because that's for war zone mobile although it's connected they it didn't really didn't mention multiplayer or war zone itself, and then forward posted this he said and for the last time the bruan and the FR 5.56.
Once the integration with War Zone goes live, going on to the next topic that we have, we're talking about this small event that we have. It seems like Call of Duty has just been teasing this event non-stop, with all these random blueprints that they're adding into the game, whether it's in the battle pass, it's part of the daily login reward, and it's the sticker that keeps teasing this event for Captain Price's Revenge, saying it's going to take place on 8:00 p.
m, In Al mazra City on October 31st, and it's sort of giving you a day and a place at the same time, but at the same time, Call of Duty has not tweeted anything about it. No one has leaked anything in regards to this event. Usually, if there's an event that's going to happen in the game, leakers are already in the files; they already know what's going to happen.
