News - New Warzone 2 Update 1. 12. New Chimera Gameplay, Atomgrad Raid, Shipment. Warzone 2 1. 12 Patch
In this update, there's a ton of content. First off, we got a new raid for spec ops, known as Adam's Grad, which you can actually queue for with some friends and get some exclusive rewards. Make sure I drop, like in the article, "subscribe," and turn on those post notifications. On this channel. So without further ado, let's talk about how big the update is and when it's officially live.
In terms of general size on the PS5, the update is around 11 to 12 gigabytes, as you guys can see on the screen here. I downloaded it on my PS5, and you guys got the proof and the pudding there. I haven't been able to download on my PS4 early just yet, but I imagine the science should be around the same there, and keep in mind your sizes might be bigger or smaller depending on how much you know of the game you have downloaded; some of you guys don't have Warzone 2 downloaded, and some of you guys don't have Spec Ops downloaded, so that also kind of factors into the effect.
December 14th at noon, Eastern Standard Time, which is 9 a.m. First off, this is based off of the spec ops in Modern So this means that you do need to have the paid version of Modern Warfare 2. You can be at War Zone 2 and enter raids, but in order to access raids, you actually need to do this raid assignment before hopping into one, which you can earn by doing a specific daily challenge in multiplayer special operations and placing within the top 20.
I have a War Zone 2.0 Battle Royale playlist, or, in DMZ, you use the final extract helicopter with at least thirty thousand dollars in cash, so once you have that raid assignment, you're pretty much good to play The Raid for the entire week until your rate assignment kind of expires, in a sense, and you can take anybody along with you; they don't need to have the rate assignment or anything like that, and basically within the raid, it's basically like an elongated game.
Spec Ops mission, which is a lot more intricate and will probably have you like solving puzzles and biting you know foes and stuff, and at the end of it you do unlock a new operator for, so you don't have to buy him from the store, you can actually unlock them through this raid, which is actually really cool, and other sorts of rewards like weapon blueprints, calling cards, and other dope stuff.
I imagine they're really silent on this topic, but it sounds very promising. So basically, shipment is coming over to Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer as it was in Modern Warfare 2019. However, it is a little bit different this year. I preferred the Vanguard shipment or Vermont for 2019, but both pale in comparison to the Cod World War II shipment and the Cod 4 shipment, which have played the best so far.
This model for two shipments should play extremely well, and I'm really excited to see how it plays. You know, getting a little bit nearer Christmas, they're going to, you know, bring out holiday shipments, which are obviously going to get a Christmas makeover. Over the original model, for two shipments, it should look really, really nice, so overall.
I'm really excited for shipment. It should be a really fun time now when it comes to Warzone 2.0. We got a couple of new things in; the DMZ has this new building known as Building 21, and apparently it's going to be a very secretive location that is going to yield some pretty great loot. I'm expecting, like, an exclusive weapon blueprint that you can use in multiplayer and, like, Spec Ops and all that, though I don't know what else to expect hopefully.
This DMZ, you know, location is worth it, and in terms of the actual Battle Royale of War Zone too, they're adding the new mode of "Warzone Cup," which is kind of funny. It's basically Call of Duty's take on Rocket League. You basically have the ATVs, and you pretty much have a pulsing energy, so that's how you, like, shoot the ball or whatever, and you like drive around this little stadium, which is actually kind of funny.
It's Al-Mazara Stadium. You just have fun that way, so this should be a really interesting mode. I could make it very funny, so yeah, that should be a fun mode. And in terms of the actual core Battle Royale, they're actually adding the new mode of Mini Royale, which we saw in War Zone 1. That's, basically, where they take the big map of Al Mazara and condense it so that it's a smaller map, and it should play a lot better.
This might make me play more War Zone 2 and upload it on the channel, so I'm excited for meeting Royale and for the war zone cub battle and the freaking Rocket League that we're going to have today. It should be a lot of fun next. Let's talk about the two new operators that are coming into the game as well as the new weapon, the Chimera.
The first operator that's coming out that we can unlock immediately is going to be Kyle Gas Garrick. The only way you can unlock them is through a store bundle, and you end up getting the free, you know, gas operator through the raid, and you get the operator bundle version of him in the store, which you actually get an exclusive third skin for.
Gas So, if you want to spend money, go for it. If you don't want to spend money, you can go for it as well, which is really nice. I like the freedom of choice there, and for our second operator, we got Claus Fisker, and you're just going to be able to get them through an operator bundle, but his bundle is a tracer pack, so that should be pretty cool.
And of course we got the new weapon, the Chimera, or the "honey badger," as it was known in Call of Duty Ghosts, and it comes with an integrated suppressor and 0.300 BLK rounds, and it should be a very great gun; it's part of the same platform as the m13b. And, the bass P SMG, so hopefully you can unlock it through just pretty much leveling up those guns, but it sounds like it's going to be some kind of weapon challenge of some sort or you'll have to buy it through a store bundle.
The weapon challenge hasn't been stated yet, but you guys will know about it if you guys stay tuned to my channels. It should be a pretty great gun if it's like the best Peer or the M13b, because those are really good guns as well, and I'm excited to use it and get you guys some gameplay with it. Now let's talk about some of the store bundles they have actually previewed.
Here on the blog post, we actually have the Tracer Pack Claws and Operator Bundle, which should be pretty cool. I'm guessing it's going to come with, like, Christmas traces or something, so there are Christmas traces. You guys already know I'm making a article. I'm not sure if it's coming out today or if it's coming out in a couple of days, but you guys do know I'm going to be on top of it for sure.
