I'm Mr golden Gamer, and I make gaming articles that nobody watches. Welcome back to another episode of my Call of Duty map comparison series, where we compare Call of Duty map remakes to the original versions. Today we're going to compare Do House, which was added to Modern Warfare 3 yesterday in the season 2 reloaded update, to its original version from Call of Duty Vanguard, 2021.

Also, these map comparison articles are part of an ongoing series on my channel. We'll be taking a look at all 16 Modern Warfare 2 2009 remastered maps that are in Modern Warfare 3, as well as all the remixed maps that are being added to Modern Warfare 3, so stay tuned for those. So let's talk about Do's house.

It's definitely a little surprising to see this mapmaker return. I'm not complaining about it because I really did enjoy this map back in Vanguard, but it's just another small map. If you think about all the small maps in this game, first we had rust, now we have shipment, then we had meat, then Stash House, and now we have DOS House.

So there are so many small maps in this game, and I think they did that because a lot of the OG Modern Warfare 2 from 2009 maps are larger maps, so they want some smaller maps to balance out the map. Pool, and I get it, and this is a really good map. Mak makes her return, and this map is a reimagination of Dos house; it isn't just simply poured over; they did a complete overhaul on this with a new theme, and the new theme is that this is on top of a skyscraper.

And a little Easter egg that I found is, as you can actually see, the high-rise map from one of the corners of this new Dos House map, which is really cool. I love when they do things like that aesthetically. I'm a big fan of what they did to this map; it is a little bit cleaner, like I feel that a lot of the textures aren't as complex and there's not as much going on, but the vibrancy of the colors and just the lighting in the map overall look really good, and gameplay-wise.

I'm a big fan of the fact that there are no more doors in this map. I am anti-do in Call of Duty 6v6 maps; keep them in the war zone. I just don't want them in traditional Call of Duty multiplayer. That's just my opinion of him, but lucky for me, there are no doors in this version of Dos House. Also, Vanguard had this gimmicky feature where it had these destructible environments.

There were a couple walls that you could either tack Sprint through or shoot or knife through, and there were a couple of those in the original Dos House. Of course, that mechanic doesn't exist here in Modern Warfare 3, so those walls are no longer there as well, so anything that was a doorway or a wall that you could break is now just an opening, and I like that a lot, and so far I've had a good time with this map.

The spawns are absolutely chaotic. Absolutely, they are; they are not good spawns at all, but that's what I expect from a map. This small map is definitely a lot of fun and definitely has a place in Modern Warfare 3, so I'm definitely excited to have this one back, Sledgehammer. In the past few years, it has really hit the mark on small maps.

I think they're doing a great job with that. That's a good map. Stash House is a good map.
