News - Warzone: The Final Meta Update. 2 New Weapons
And obviously that didn't happen; we got the ISO 9; we got the dual commas; but we got the gist instead, so that added credibility to those initial leaks. The bruan or the Servall as it's also known is literally in the game files for MW2 and has been for some time so unless there is a major surprise, weapon update you know this weekend or early next week this means that this season is only going to have two ranged weapons which would be the lowest in sometime for a seasonal update or a season you know spanning across several weeks for Call of Duty and with it not dropping with the haunting update again I'd be very surprised, if this did sort of come out of left field and just drop on like a random Tuesday or Wednesday, it's not impossible, but again with the time frame here looking forward a lot of focus on MW three I'd be surprised if they did drop it by now also for what it's worth you know with the haunting being a title update it adds in new files, if there was going to be a new weapon update featuring the Bruin as a new lmg since we didn't get a new lmg the entire year for MW2.
It probably would have leaked by now, and there would be new assets for the camos that were coming with it or new assets for some of the attachments, whatever the case may be. Well, what do you know? host Ed Zack here in about an hour after I rendered this article and uploaded it privately so I could have it ready to schedule.
Well, we ended up getting some new leaks on Twitter saying that the Bruan MK9 As it's known in the game, it's supposedly going to be coming now. There are some new files referencing Bruce MK9 Mastery, too, Fr556. Mastery so the Famas might also be coming back now as to when this could happen. I truly have no idea; it's got to be in the next 10 days, or so I would imagine.
I would be really surprised if they were going to drop an update the same week as the Early Access for MW3 campaign, but yeah.
Some mw3 based weapon updates could happen
I guess there's a chance now, and really the The only other potential thing left in terms of major game-changing things for the weapons this season outside of the basic adjustments we're going to see with this next meta update is maybe some potential adjustments correlated to MW3. Obviously, we know the weapon system there behaves a bit differently.
There's less visual recoil, less recoil overall on a lot of the guns, less visual noise with smoke and gun shake, and stuff like that if we're going to see all these weapons transferred into MW3. Either they're going to be at a distinct disadvantage, like I've talked about before, or they're going to have to adjust them in some way to match them with MW3.
Guns, so it's possible we start to see some changes there, but that also may just be reserved for the MW3 launch day for MP and the integration for War Zone in early December. Maybe we see some early MW3 guns drop, like with Vanguard back in the day. With War Zone, that's another potential opportunity, but again, it seems unlikely considering the lack of leaks regarding that stuff.
So it really does seem like the second half of season 6 in terms of meta updates and what ultimately will be this final meta update for this year, at least for MW2. It could be a bit lacking in a lot of different ways, which is a bummer to see, but I guess it is what it is that is being said. That's effectively what we know about the current meta-changes.
