News - Warzone Needs To Turn Off Crossplay
And we also know that Ricochet itself, at a console level, is capable of detecting those USB devices. So quite literally, the only way you can play without encountering any of this trouble is just to play on the PlayStation with crossplay off, and the fact that you have to go through that many hoops in the first place to have a clean experience is, in my view, indicative of a system that isn't working.
And the crazy thing is, to me, I'm a streamer who is regularly accused of cheating. Obviously, I don't take those accusations lightly; I find them a little bit funny at this point, honestly. I am a good player at War Zone. I'm expecting some of these accusations to come in, but I don't understand the principle of cheating in a game like War Zone or any other shooter for that matter because it saps the experience of earning it yourself away from the experience, in my view.
But I've even gotten to a point now where I don't even blame people for accusing myself or other streamers or other high-level players of cheating in War Zone because the system has failed them so many times that there's always going to be that inkling of doubt, there's always going to be that suspicion, and until we have a system that 100% works, most of the time people are always going to have that assumption.
So I don't even blame them anymore; it's something I have to deal with as a streamer; it's definitely something that is annoying and frustrating about trying to be a high-level player in Call of Duty and not something that other people in valerant and other games have to deal with, but I get it, and I don't blame them at this point because what should I expect from a system that just doesn't really work?
Don't just include people who you think are maybe doing something or who you're a little bit suspicious about. And maybe you've even reported them and seen them banned.
