News - Warzone 2 Zombies Saboteur Mission - Exfil With The Uncommon Aether Tool Plans (get Aether Tool Schematic)
It's not amazing, but it's very helpful when starting off in zombies when you' don't have a lot of gear and stuff unlocked, and in order to get the uncommon ether tool plans, it seems you actually need to shoot down a reinforcement helicopter. So basically. I tried doing this contract without shooting down the helicopter and just going straight for the end of the contract, so I disabled all three extractors, and it didn't count, so I believe you do need to actually shoot down the reinforcement helicopter to get these plans, and once you shoot down this helicopter, you want to complete the ether extractor contract, i.e., destroy all three of those extractors.
And once you do this, a reward Rift for that contractor will spawn, and in the reward Rift will be the uncommon ether tool plans; it will be that yellow schematic item. If you don't see this there in the reward Rift, you either didn't destroy the helicopter or it didn't count, hence you'll want to repeat the process and do another ether extractor contract, but hopefully you've done it, and therefore you can do it all in one contract once you actually get these uncommon ether tool plans.
Put it into your infantry and head straight to the Expo point to unlock it; you obviously won't keep the uncommon Ether tool schematic unless you fill with it; if you then drop it or you die, you won't complete it, and you'd have to do it again, so make sure you're actually filling with it both to complete this mission, and it's also useful to have as a permanent schematic too, but obviously just go to the nearest.
XO point on the map should be fairly easy; there shouldn't be too many zombies. Use your weapon, take them out, get on the helicopter as soon as it lands, and then it will fly away and you will die. Once you do that, obviously, you're going to complete the mission. You're going to get your uncommon ether tool, and you'll also get some rewards for this mission.
