News - Warzone 2 Season 2 Update Patch Notes. Weapon Balances, Changes, More. Warzone 2 Update 1. 15
Intro
Welcome back to another article today that I have for you guys because we're going to be talking about the patch notes for today's season 2 update. There's a lot to talk about, so I'm going to try and shorten it as much as possible. But anyway, let's go ahead and get into it. First off, in terms of patch notes, they did a lot of bug fixes.
Make sure the game is running smoothly and there aren't as many developer errors. Make sure the game isn't crashing; that's pretty much what all of these bug fixes were mainly for. The next thing that we have here is.
Weapon nerfs & buffs
All the weapon balancing that we have so they did a lot of buffs and nerfs to many different weapons so the first one is the m13b; it says they increased damage at mid-range and increased the upper torso damage, so that got a buff; the cast off 762 got also a buff and a nerf small damage reduction; and then they added additional long range damage falloff; then the lockerman 556 got increased semi-auto, rate of fire; so that guy above the M4 ended up getting increased semi-auto, rate of fire; and then the stb556, they fixed an issue with single tap mod magazine attachments that caused the weapon to deal less than it should; so that's another thing now we're going on into the battle rifles those ended up getting a lot of changes so the lockman 762 they decreased Full-auto head and torso damage increased, the damage on the semi-auto increased, and the semi-auto rate of fire reduced.
Full recoil increased damage at long range and then added minimum damage against armor, and then the F-TAC Recon did pretty much the same thing but decreased Full-auto upper torso damage speeds up the ad time. Full auto recoil increases close-range damage distance. The lower torso damage multiplier added minimum damage against armor.
The SO14 increased, and the semi-auto rate of fire increased. Long range: reduce the semi-auto headshot damage, then add minimum damage against armor, and finally the last one is attack V is decreased and mid-range damage is increased. Semi-auto torso damage is reduced, semi-auto leg damage is decreased, and full auto head damage is decreased.
They said that twice for some reason and then reduced the semi-auto rate of fire, so that one ended up getting some sort of nerf, and then the only handgun that ended up getting a fix or change is the X13. They reduced the damage while using the akimbos to pretty much lower it down, especially in war zones where people abuse that, and then they increase lower body damage and then increase close range damage and increase damage distances, so going on to the next thing that we have, these are the stralopy launchers, remove activation distances, and then projectiles explode.
At any range, the RPG also got a small increase in splash damage amount and a small reduction to splash damage range, and then the LMGs, this is where a lot of people are seeing the meta RPG, so that ended up getting enough as well, so they reduced the ads movement speed, they reduced the mid and long range damage, and then they reduced the damage range, but in return they gave us a small increase in the ads time, so I don't think it's going to be the metal for much longer, and then the raw mg has also gotten nerfed, they gave it a little bit more recoil, and then for the marksman rifles, we got the EBR reduced.
Long range increased the upper torso damage, and then minimum damage was added. The LMS added minimum damage against armor, and the attack M added a slight increase to the rate of fire for more torso damage and then added minimum damage against armor. They also did a melee update, so now it will take you three hits with a non-melee weapon to kill someone when they are fully armored instead of two, and another thing is that you are now able to use knife equipment if you are crouching.
So those are some things right there, and then for the submachine gun, we got the Vasov 9K, which reduced mid- to long-range damage. The mini-back ended up getting a lot of changes as well reduced the damage range. Reduce lower torso damage at close range, reduce lower body damage, and then add minimum damage against armor.
The Fenik 45 decreased, damage overall decreased, headshot damage added minimum damage against armor, so that also got fully nerfed, and then for the snipers only the signal 50 got changed, the sprint speed reduced, the movement speed reduced, the long range damage decreased, and then small decrease in bullet velocity.
Then, for the attachments, they reduced the AD penalty for the bipod, and then they fixed an issue, so these are the changes you need to know in terms of weapons.
Warzone 2 patch notes
Match is now going to be available starting with season two, so starting from today you're not going to be able to access private matches in solos, duels, trios, and quads, so now you can do all of that. The spectator feature for private matches will also be available at later dates. A lot of people have been looking forward to this and want to see it in War Zone 1, and another thing is that in Almazra, which is almost there, there are now redeployable packs, so this new tactic equipment will give players another shot at victory.
They can be found in ground loot on some buy stations and are guaranteed from completing the stronghold and black sight missions, so these are very important packs that you can get to pretty much help you win the game. The next thing is the cash economy, which is now giving you a minimum of $500 from registers.
Supply boxes are legendary, and you're getting at least a minimum of 500, so now you'll be able to buy your loadouts and buy things a lot faster, and you'll be able to collect cash while you're in the gulag. When you die, you'll be able to get more cash; you'll die with more cash, and then when you loot players, you'll be able to get more cash overall, just more cash in general.
The next thing that we have are perk packages. They are now going to be available, but you will not be able to customize them; the only thing to do is overclock them. And the bird's eyes are disabled. The next thing is to buy stations. Spawn locations have been adjusted, and they also adjusted the prices of a lot of things that are in there to make it a little bit more affordable; solos are now 8 000 for a supply drop; duals are now 12 000 trills; and in quads, it's now twenty thousand.
