News - How To Complete The Haunting Soul Capture Event Fast Warzone 2. Rewards, Patch Notes And More
All right, guys, so today is the day of the haunting event. Now we've just had a fantastic Modern Warfare 3 beta weekend. We've had two great weekends of that, unfortunately. We are now back in Modern Warfare 2. However, guys, the good news is that there's lots of content, lots of stuff to grind for, and a lot of rewards with this haunting event.
Of course, we're going to discuss all that today, and we're always going to make sure we are discussing the patch notes. As we've all said, let's jump right into it, so today The Haunting event has started, and there's a lot of reward, and there's going to be a lot of content over the next two months, so what I'm going to do is, guys.
I'm going to head over and have a look at the patch notes that were released by Call of Duty today, themselves, and let's have a little discussion on that. Then. I'm going to teach you guys how you can go ahead and max out all your rewards and get as many souls as you possibly can as quick as you possibly can, so with all being said.
The Haunting returns, so prepare for our frightening thrones and shambles. Undead Squad hunts to take down growing Esq monsters and those in famous jump scares as The Haunting Returns. The Haunting event brings Halloween theme maps, modes, events, and more across both games, so the Haunting Soul Capture event is the main event, and this is what I'm going to teach you: how you can go ahead and make sure you can max out your souls and get them as quick as you possibly can, but let's continue this, and then we'll get to that once we've discussed the notes, so we've all been said.
The Haunting Soul Capture event is available across Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty War Zones. The Soul Capture event is an enhanced and fear-inducing variation on the popular trophy hunt event from season 3, available across all game modes. Anytime a player is eliminated, they leave a soul behind.
That is a little bit of a lie because I've had a few kills and not gotten myself any souls so far, but it'll be a quick fix. They sort it out no problem, but you click these souls, which are automatically added to your total in all game modes, meaning there's no need to visit a buy station in Call of Duty War Zone or DMZ this time and trade them for items shown in the events tab, which is pretty good.
At least we don't have to go and trade them in. At least we're going to get them all sorted, and we'll be able to use them right away and get those rewards. So the event rewards you, and then you get the Gbat weapon sticker. Skifi, the calling card, is a corny charm creature. War Snake player card triplets kind of weapon sticker Hell's Army loading screen Halloween witch weapon sticker, nightmare sweats weapon blueprint, and XP token So there is an absolute ton of content you guys can get just by logging into the game and playing the game naturally, so with the operators, then we've got the Skeletor.
Ash and Inarius make their way to The Haunting, so we've got the Skeletor coming on October 17th, which is today, and then we've got Ash on October 23rd in Aras on October 26. Possessed equipment did you hear that? Did you see that? So it seems some of your load-out equipment may have become possessed.
Operators are to take additional care when utilizing the following items: sound view scream field upgrade for those stepping into the Soundwave of suppression mine per from Hallucina. Audio assault as their air fills with the screams of the dead now decoy grenades, then guys reports of inhuman and monstrous sounds prepared with gunfire make this more than just an audio hallucination.
So the bug fixes just what we want to read and just what we need, guys. So it fixed an issue that could cause the player to be kicked to the main menu when previewing a weapon through the gunsmith, which I can't say personally. I've had that issue before. I fixed an issue where the operator pack had placeholder elements when previewing the bundle, an issue where the dragonfly blueprint was not displaying the correct weapon skin, an issue where the super shotgun would display an incorrect reload ammunation, and an issue where the harangi skin death frame could have an incorrect appearance.
an issue where an incorrect melee sound could be heard when toggling some optic perspectives on the Bryson 800 and the Bryson 890. And then fix an issue where changing blueprint tuning or attachments could remove the base weapon name in the load-out menu. They've also fixed an issue where the equipped-to-favorite load-out button could lose fun functionality because the same weapon is equipped in both the primary and secondary slots.
They also fixed an issue where spawns on fights were incorrect in gunfight private matches and an issue where the super shotgun displayed an incorrect caned laser placement on black gold, and the last two they fixed were an issue that could prevent players from navigating menu options correctly from certain inputs in a private match and an issue that could cause large frames to drop and switch in between the all and prestigious tabs in the calling card section weapons.
I expect weapon balancing updates as the season progresses, so we've got no weapon balancing updates in multiplayer, then we have got three or two brand new map updates, so we've got El Asyo and we've also got Diod Mortos, while memb becomes the site of a devastating zombie attack, so there's a lot of content there by changing the maps to look pretty cool, and then we've also had changes in the game mode, so haunting domination.
The flags will actually be scarecrows, confirmed haunting kills, and grinds. Instead of dog tags, collect skulls instead, and then trick or treat, capture, and hold the drop zone to earn points for your team, but take care while opening your crates. Who knows what might jump out of it? Yeah, so there's a lot of stuff there, and then we do get zombies infected, where players actually do become zombies once they are infected, which is the haunting theme of zombies, so there's a lot of stuff and a lot of information.
And like I said, there's a lot of content coming our way, which is absolutely fantastic. Of course, we've got different bits of content over on War Zone that's going to be happening over the next few days as well as the next couple of weeks, so we definitely want to stay tuned and make sure we are going ahead and getting all the rewards we possibly can, so you do need to make sure you're logging in every day.
This event is lasting all the way until. I believe, the first season of Modern Warfare 3, so at least the daily logins If you don't get a chance to log in every day, you'll still be able to go ahead and make sure you can get your daily logins, which is fantastic. Another reason you guys have gone ahead and clicked on this article is that I can 100% guarantee you that a lot of people are going to jump on haunting 24/7.
