New mw2 season 6 multiplayer map trailer
I do want to mention we did get a first look at a bunch of the new multiplayer maps releasing with season six.
I'll have that up in the background of this article. Really cool stuff here,.
The wsow solo yolo pack is now free in mw2
It's just a quick article, but first up here. People bought it, and then a month later they gave it to Prime Gaming members for free. Same thing here again if you bought the solo Yolo pack, unfortunately. If you have Prime Gaming, connect it with your activation account.
It's a pretty cool pack, honestly, but it does stink if you already bought it. But to go through what you're getting, you're getting the solo Yolo Chimera weapon blueprint. A Red Mist Victus XMR weapon blueprint; a broken camera emblem; a broken animated emblem; let's go streaking an animated calling card.
I wish you were here. Animated calling card Splat, con card, double XP double weapon XP, so that's that cool stuff overall, but again, unfortunately, if you already bought it, you're kind of out of luck there, but it is a free pack you can now get, so I thought I'd mention it in this article, but next year for some other free rewards.
Free mil-sim shadow company operator releasing in mw2!
This one was definitely a pretty cool one. At the end of the blog post for season six, we have this: a bunch of final prestige, rewards, some you know emblems, and the standard stuff, but also you're getting that Milsim. Shadow Company operated. A lot of people have been talking about it now, and a lot of people have been saying they need more milsim operators in this game, and I definitely agree as well, and I do like these vibrant bundles.
I like the bundles that have really sick camos that pop, and I like the crossovers as well as celebrity movies. I do still think that stuff is cool, but having a good balance with the milsim operators, a part of different factions, especially Shadow Company in this game, is fire as well, and you are getting this really cool, you know, milsim operator for a certain challenge, so what is that challenge exactly?
Let's read through this year. Season six will increase the prestige rank, of course, from 21 to 25, with a new maximum level of 12.50. So obtaining each new Prestige rank offers multiple rewards, so for each Prestige, you're going to get some rewards, and of course, you're going to get emblems. A battle pass tier skips double XP battle pass tokens access to new calling card challenges as well as all cool stuff, but those who reach Prestige rank 25 will also receive the militant and operator skins.
You know Max rank here pretty much in Modern Warfare 2, and you'll get the militant operator skin, which is fire. That is a long time away for a lot of us here now. I'm honestly nowhere near that. It's a pretty simple challenge; it's not difficult; it just requires a lot of play time if you have wxp, tokens, and want to grind through the levels to get this skin.
and note that your current progress will not reset at the start of the season. Keep ranking up from the level you reached in season five, whether it's before Prestige, ranks one through fifty-five, or within Prestige, ranks 56 to 10.50, so that's that there.
New haunting event daily login rewards
That is now next to yours for some season six event rewards. These are all going to be released a bit later on in the season after the MW3 beta ends on October 17th, which is the start of the haunting event, so first here we have new daily login rewards, as well as the creeping terror contained within the haunting infiltrates.
MW2, and Warzone expect to receive a variety of free limited-time cosmetic items simply by logging into the game as The Haunting progresses, so this is going to be very standard here. We saw this a couple times before in the past, obviously. Just log in every day for five to seven unique days, for example, and each day you'll get an emblem, a call-on card, maybe an operator skin, and probably a weapon blueprint as well.
These cosmetics won't be the most spectacular things, but they should still be cool. They're going to be the haunting theme—probably, you know, purple orange. Maybe some red hues as well, just those types of colors that fit the theme of the season. Maybe some spawn-themed things as well; you know, we'll see very soon, but overall, that is a very easy way to get some free rewards in this game, and those are only available for a limited time by logging into the game, so it's super simple: just log in and get those rewards.
New soul capture event for mw2 haunting update!
Let's hear another pretty, easy event. We have the Soul Capture event, which is very similar to the trophy hunt event we saw a couple of months ago. The Soul Capture event is enhanced and fear-inducing, a variation of the popular trophyon. An event from season 3 is available across all game modes at any time.
A player is eliminated if they leave a soul behind. Collect these souls, which are automatically added to your total in all game modes, meaning there's no need to visit a buy station in a war zone or DMZ this time and trade them for items shown in the events tab. Increase the number of souls you capture by facing off against a variety of monsters lurking across warzones, maps, or demons of items, and you'll unlock some impressively themed items for your effort, so these event rewards should be a lot better.
A lot more interesting. It's still a pretty easy challenge and event to complete, but it's going to take a lot more, and the final reward, again, I think, will be a lot more satisfying. Cooler operator skins, cooler weapon blueprints, and stuff like that are a bit more rewarding than the daily login rewards.
You have to play the game and go around and collect the souls to get these rewards. I loved the change here with Warzone previously. For the trophy hunt event, you had to get them in Warzone and then actually bring them to a buy station and redeem them there because if you got some trophies in Warzone or DMZ and you died before redeeming them, you lost out on those trophies; you had to redeem them, so this is a cool, easy way to hop in and get some guaranteed souls, and that's it, and of course you're getting even more souls by completing the different, you know, little challenges within the war zone.
There's going to be different areas of the map where different monsters are located. If you complete those challenges, kill those monsters, whatever you're going to get—even more souls, even more bang for your buck pretty much—and that's going to be probably the fastest way to completely capture the event.
