Intro

In today's article, we're going to be using my very best class setup for the 556 Icarus LMG here in Modern Warfare 2.

So, in my opinion, the Icarus is a weapon with a very good fire rate, but the damage range is a bit lacking for an LMG. It's more like an assault rifle type of weapon Damage range, but it still hits like a truck within the effective damage range.

It's all good. LMGs are very slow, but I built this one out much like an AR. We have great movement speeds and great aim down sight speed, and it's one that I definitely recommend you give a go. Let's go through the class setup. The x10 grip is where we're starting for Sprint to fire speed at aim-down sight speed.

I tune that to just the same aim down sight speed and sprint to fire speed for the stock and go with the Ravage 8 for Crouch movement speed. Sprint speed and aim down sight speed On this one, you're going to want to aim at sight speed and walk speed. I am going with a laser sight here, where I have the FSS OLED, the V laser for aim downside speed and aiming stability, and the Sprint for fire speed, skipping right over the barrel and heading to the muzzle.

I have the RF Ground 50. Pull, horizontal and vertical recoil control now, that's going to be tuned to recoil stabilization, and gun kick control finishing off with the F-TAC Ripper 56. For aiming idle stability, hip fire accuracy, and recoil stabilization, you're going to want that one tuned to aim down sight speed and aim walking speed, respectively.

I'll let the gameplay speak for itself. I end up going on to Lazilo and getting an MGB with this exact build that I think features all of its capabilities to the best I possibly can. Let's slide over to that, and I hope you guys enjoy it.

It has been a little while since I played some El Asilo. But I have an Icarus, and it's probably a good choice to use it on this map, actually. a fast fire rate, so more on the aggressive side here, all of the LMGs, but at the same time it still has that decent effective damage range because, of course, it does.

You want to reload before I start getting my push on; they should spawn in the field to my left, either there or in the back, but it looks like my team's in the back, so we should be good on that front, the perimeter. We're close to a 15 here, so I want to play this properly. Max has no reason to go ultra-aggressive while we have a streak ready.
