I'll show you exactly the steps to get to the hotel and get the weapon, and then also give you some advice on how to safely extract so that you can do the solo, and it's easy peasy lemon squeezy now in terms of spawning in points specifically in the DMZ. This is really going to be the sweet spot for you to get into, as you are right next to Sawa Village, which has the hotel that you're looking for.
If you don't spawn here, that's not the end of the story; just go ahead and grab a vehicle and race your asses over here specifically. The area that you're looking for is there. If you go there, you'll be able to see the hotel quite clearly; you'll see it right now as we get here, so that is the particular hotel that you're supposed to go into now.
You're looking for room 302, which is on the left side of the hotel if you go all the way up to the top now. Something that's worth mentioning here is that this area has several spawn points around it for four people in the DMZ, so just keep your head on a swivel and be careful for people pushing you in here as well as AI, and once you get up to the third floor, you're going to see room 302, but it's going to require a key, which you can find out in the Wilds.
I actually have one in my inventory that I found in a chest, but there's an easy way for you to get into the room without a key: shoot out a window. Go back down to street level, and you'll notice that on both sides of the hotel there are stairs going up to the top. a ladder rather than stairs, so if you take this ladder, you're going to get to the top here, but in any case, as I mentioned, just watch out for people there.
It could be AI pushing you here, and obviously you want to get them off your back before you climb the ladder so you don't get shot in the back. So, once you get to the top here, you're going to notice four areas with windows that you can shoot through to get into the rooms below them. The room you're looking for is right down here; this is actually Room 302.
It's going to have a bit of loot in it and some chess, but most specifically, what you're looking for is that right there; that's the golden eagle that you need to get now. There are three parts to this quest: opening the door, finding the gun and picking it up, and then extracting. So do remember to come remove the dead ball and actually open up the door here; otherwise, you're not going to get credit for that top part of the quest there now.
When it comes to extracting the weapon, when you're finally ready to move from this area, pick the closest extraction point that you can get, grab yourself a vehicle, drive over there, and suss it out unfortunately. If you get killed at this point, you aren't going to get the final credit for this level, or rather, for this mission.
So you need to actually be extracting with this golden deagle so that you can get the credits for that drive. Around this area, try and pop the location to see the extraction. If there are choppers coming in, if it seems busy, or if there are other players there, there are two other extraction sites available, so rather just pull out and go and essentially extract over there.
The other advice that I can give you is that, generally speaking, the server population is very low in the morning. This is something that I've been using to my advantage when it comes to solo content and trying to do some of the extraction-based stuff, and you just get griefed by other players. I try to do this content quickly, early in the morning if I can, before most of the sweats get on, so either way, hopefully, you can get the extraction.
Chopper to pop in as you can see here, you just get your asses on there, and hopefully nobody else comes riding in there and ruins your day like this AI over here.
