Don't worry though, there are some completely free ones coming up, and I'll be saving the best for last. The Modern Warfare 2 skin and operator are the ranked play skins. To get this ranked competitor skin, you just need to get to level 5 in ranked play, which equates to 10 wins. Then, at level 50, you unlock the ranked veteran skin as well.

I, personally, think these operators look great, and the level 5-ranked competitor skin is very easy to get. On top of how they look for the base ranks, at the end of each season you get a cooler to trim those skins, and this depends on your skill division. You just need to make sure you're in gold or above.

I think it's fantastic that your actual in-game performance can translate to a skin, so if you do have Modern Warfare 2, you can't sleep on these great skins, so get in there now. The next skin is another free-ish one since it requires us to have Monomorph there too, but to get it we need to head over to the DMZ and specifically the Crown faction missions.

When you complete the Tier 3 story missions, Tracking, you get this Foxtrot skin. This is a great skin and quite different from many of the others currently available on War Zone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Right now, the mission itself to get this skin is fairly difficult and will require quite a bit of patience.

You have to take and extract four tracking devices from the hydroelectric. Dead Drop, then plan to track it on three enemy axle choppers in one deployment, then plan to track it on the final x-filled choppers in the same deployment. The best way to do a lot of this will be to either join up with extracting squads or wipe them out.

This will make planting the tracking devices much easier, and in fact, a full squad will make getting the skin and the others in this article much easier too. You probably already know this one by now, and you may already have it, but it's still a great skin that I had to mention sadly. The other weapon case extraction sites, Wards on Ashika Island and Building 21, are just Get your blueprints now.

Next up, we have the sleet skin, which you get in the DMZ for completing Tier 3 White Lotus, Mission Nowhere. To hide the mission itself isn't too difficult; we just have to upload a series of Legion deal intel across the map on our Marsra and Ashika Islands. Again, we need to head into the DMZ for this skin and do another Tier 3 mission, but this time for the black mouse faction. The mission is called "medical diagnosis," and to complete it, "we need to extract all three medical documents from the al-Mazara hospitals in one deployment." The difficulty here is not the mission itself, but actually getting to the point that this mission is unlocked since you have to complete all of Tier 1 and Tier 2 on black mouse first and then do five Tier 3 missions on black mouse as well before it's unlocked.

There is no doubting though that this is a great skin and anyone you see with it gets immediate kudos, and, speaking of there, there is of course the bonus nuke skin that you get for setting off the nuke in Battle Royale in War Zone 2, but this is extremely difficult; you have to win 5 matches in a row then do the nuke contract, which is really difficult but it is totally free and grants you immediate respect and admiration.
