Intro

here we go, we're going to run him over just like that super easy pick-up, up the gas mask we'll. Pick up the variant. We're back in business with another article for you today. With Warzone 2 and the DMZ dropping with Season 1 and MW2, I'm going to let you guys know how you can unlock the new M13 assault rifle that's out in the game.

As you can see, the challenge here is to unlock it by defeating the chemist in the radiation zone of the DMZ and extracting it. Now you can play with some friends, but again, I'm going to do it solo and show you guys how you can do it by yourself. Now I'm going to be taking nothing in on my loadout because I don't want to lose anything.

If you guys didn't know, when you go into the DMZ, you actually lose the items that you die with. So just in case this takes a couple tries, especially if you're playing solo, I'm going to go into this first game butt-naked. I don't want to lose any loot.

Gameplay

Now, right when we spawn in, there are really only a couple things that we're going to prioritize.

When it puts us in the game, we're going to immediately open up the map to figure out where we are. We're going to try and find a bot as fast as possible because each bot will have a gas mask on his person. We need to take that so we don't die from the gas itself, so just quickly try and find about just straggling around the outside here, a couple up here.

You can pick up a gas mask off the ground and put that puppy on; that way, you guys don't die, and now all we're doing is driving around the hazard zone looking for a man in a hazmat suit in a yellow suit. The bots will continue to shoot you as you're in your vehicle, but running him over is by far the easiest way of killing him now.

If you're going to die, just take a set-go reset. You don't want to end up finding another game over here. You don't want to end up killing all these bots and having to fight everybody there. We go there. We have him right here. I miss you. I messed up badly. Come on on, buddy, there we go. Once you pick up the M16, you need to be the individual who x-fills with this thing, so, as quickly and safely as possible, drive to one of these locations on the map.

They're going to be marked by a little person running outside of the building. It looks like we have another player in the car right here. So avoid other players if possible. Okay, we don't want to get into fights with these guys. I'm following him. It looks like he may be going towards an X-fill.

Also, if he chooses one of these x-fills, I'm going to go to the opposite one. We don't want to end up having to fight at the X-fill, so we're just going to come immediately. Here, the likelihood that we're having to fight anybody is low, so we will have to survive for a second, but make sure you guys are aware and play it a little safe as we ex-fill.

We're just trying to buy some time here, so we'll wait until that helicopter drops any second now. Keep your eyes out for the other players. I promise you guys if you die, you're going to have to restart and you're going to be super tilted, so I'm going to wait until these guys get here, and then we have 30 more seconds, so I'm going to continue to stay in my car and not get out and be a sitting duck all right.

In 10 more seconds, I'm going to jump in the back seat here and x-fill just like that easy-peasy baby that was really fast. With 21 and a half minutes remaining in this game, I'm telling you, that's got to be a world record for the M13 unlock. I don't know who else has done it that fast. Sometimes you'll spawn far away from the radiation zone, and sometimes you'll spawn close to it.

Obviously, it helps to be right next to it. The first player to kind of get there doesn't have to really fight off anybody; you guys might see some other players and stuff on the map Al-Mazra itself, but there's not a big group of people that you'll run into very often. If anything, you'll see most people at x-fills, strongholds, and kind of main points and stuff like that, but there we go, a successful x-fill, and we walked out with the yellow M13 blueprint in our hands.

Your weapon unlocks the M13. We saw it there at the top just for a tiny second. Now once we leave the game, we'll go back into multiplayer, check our unlocks, and we should have it. Let's come over to our weapons. We'll go to our assault rifles all the way down at the end. We now have the M13 unlocked—just like that, easy peasy.
